SkyView HDX Demo: Virtual Booth Visit - July 27, 2020

Although we can’t visit with you in person this year, we can still demonstrate our products to you virtually. At this “Virtual Booth Visit”, we'll do a real-time interactive demo of SkyView HDX and take your questions on anything Dynon-related. It’s almost like being at Oshkosh. SkyView HDX is available in experimental, LSA, and nearly 600 certified aircraft models.

How do you get all the FMS data update to your Skyview? is it come from your Garmin 175?

Very informative but I suggest changing the HSI source and having bearing pointers should be easier to get to (several menus deep, should be a soft key button too). Nrst should be a sub menu when you press the direct to(I don't feel nrst is of enough value to be a front and center soft button). idk how big the touch areas are but for example the entire area above your current IAS on the A/S tape that also includes the ias selector should be a touch point for ias, below ias for V speeds, above the current ALT for alt select(18:43 ?) and be below it for Baro (or even baro mins?). This would helpful in turbulence. AOA colors are too cluttered for a cruise flight, I shouldn't see yellow or red until I'm actually getting to that undesirable AOA. Maybe make brg pointers cyan+white or dashed cyan. Maybe it could be an option for long press/short press for the left knob to be (HDG) sync vs selector menu. I'd change PLT (plate) to CHRT (chart) since plate is kind of slang. And I'd make the Direct to button have to be a once to load twice to execute just in case you didnt mean to hit it while in the airport info menu. That whole comm demonstration was Soo cool and forward thinking.

This video had the potential to be a really good video but your audio was pretty bad and then it seemed like you were in such a big hurry to get through all of this that it was hard to comprehend very much. Would like to see you make the video over again with better audio and moving at a little slower pace.
