Beagles are excellent rabbit hunting dogs, also very brave and smart. We had beagle almost 14 yrs, i loved it. I remember a funny thing, when our young beagle was learning for rabbit hunting, one time it was following rabbit scent trail and when it lost track of it, our beagle watched up to a big tree and thought rabbit must went up there :D Greetings from Finland

It's OK that not everybody likes them. Always going to have people with different opinions and I respect that. These dogs are treated like part of our family. The rabbit dictates how the run goes. If he does not want to play then he just runs to the hole. We do have a hunting season but kill very few rabbits. For us it's about the dogs running the rabbit. If the rabbit is healthy the dogs never get close to the rabbit.

All the dislikes... you can bet they've never been out doors in their lives and probably think rabbits are born from Easter eggs. Love the sound of the beagles... "doing what they were created to do". Some of these beagles live like really good race horses, very well cared for. And in ARHA events, the rabbits are unharmed,.. though a bit exercised for that day. ANd if you notice the dogs are wearing transmitting collars with trailing antennae to make sure they don't get lost.

There are a lot of beagles up for rescue adoption in kentucky. That's where I got mine from. They brought her up to Ontario with a bunch of others. Basically the humane societies anywhere in that state will most likely have a bunch. Beagles do Corky things. As long as dogs are eating, drinking and plaing you are good. Hunters want them to have the low tail swing. They make wonderful pets. Go easy on the dog treats and make sure he gets lots of exercise. They can become porkers real easy.

I will say this for the 1000th time, don't chase or try to cut off the rabbit dummies, don't walk thru the woods just stand still on the track and spread out. Rabbits have great ears and will range out on you if the see movement or hear talking. Find the track and stay quiet and the dogs will run them back to you. The old guys knows what the hell they're doing that is why he gets the rabbits

I’m actually a lot more OK with this than I am with fox hunting. They are chasing a natural quarry which if caught will not be wasted. I’ve never been comfortable with the idea of training canines to hunt each other, or the methods used to condition hounds in that direction. It just seems a perversion of nature. I’ve followed a beagle pack in Yorkshire and love watching these little fellows at work, which is far more visible to followers than with fox hunting; their noses are phenomenal. It’s quite amusing when they reach an obstacle that’s too high and the followers pitch in to help lift them over it! Fox hunting is an equestrian thrill but beagling is for true hunting enthusiasts who like to see hounds work. And get a good days exercise in the process!

Yes I do and thanks for the reply. I keep track of all my stuff. The money used to be pretty good on KZbin until the made me sign the last contract. This is my views on this video..... 506,647 Total video views..... Subcribers 4,039,056 2,784 I was really glad to see the video of the drone but jealous at the same time. I was hoping my wife could get back to work soon. I have been reading about them for a long time now. I was hoping to have one and have some experience with it by trial season but it was not meant to be. It made for a entertaining video. As for this video I have so many more videos that are way more entertaining. There has to be something that causes them to get views I am missing. I wanted to show my son why beagles are the most annoying dogs in the world. Thanks for helping to make my point.

With parents like you it's nice to know the young generation will continue to struggle😉😉

Don't really understand. We have no problems with dogs barking.

Girl, it’s not like they bark like this 24/7. 🤣

If you don't want something that barks, then get a cat.

Get some rabbits and let him chase them. He will have a new outlook on life.
