The Ballad of the Goddess at the end always makes me emotional because it feels like the game has come full circle. It starts with Zelda playing the song and singing, and it ends with Link playing the song. Perfect way to end such an amazing game.

@6:24 when it reaches that crescendo of horns and cymbals, my god, it’s enough to make u breakout out into tears. When this game came out my dad had just passed away that January 2011, so by this time it was December I was dreading Christmas because he wouldn’t be there, but I soldiered on and I played this that morning, when I finally reached the ending, a few weeks later I broke out into tears, it’s such a beautiful ending, and considering it was the first Zelda without him and the last Zelda for the Wii and the last traditional Zelda before Nintendo would revolutionize with BOTW.

Wasn't my first Zelda nor my friends played it, but I was deeply interested in the story (I really tried to look for spoilers but no success). I even bought the special edition with the gold wiimote b/c you needed the new version to play the game. When I found out this was the first game in the story line everything start to click when looking back to the other games, and when the credits began I couldn't stop thinking this game was and is one of the most beautiful master pieces Nintendo could ever made.

The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (Ending Credits Songs in and Epilogue to Together Forever) After the credits, it is shown that Gaepora, Cawlin and Strich fly down through the cloud barrier to meet with Zelda, Link, and Groose. Groose returns to Skyloft with the others, bidding farewell to Link and Zelda, who are seen on the Goddess Statue once more as Link plays the “Ballad of the Goddess” on the Goddess’s Harp. Zelda tells Link that she had always dreamt about the Surface and that she wants to remain there, and asks what Link’s intentions are for the future. Link smiles at her, and the camera pans to show both his and Zelda’s Loftwings flying back into the sky 🌌, implying that Link chose to stay with Zelda got married queen and king did a great long weekend people we are so thankful wedding 💒 day from Hyrule land.

Married after Skyward Sword. Then startin' a fam. Maybe one side of the fam stayed as commoners (the Links with Spirit of the Hero) with the other side startin' the royal bloodline (the Zeldas with Hylia's power). Y'don't gotta be part of the Hero's blood ta really be a hero. Y'just gotta prove the heroism with yer actions. Some Links had the hero's blood, some could have the hero's resolve without bein' in the bloodline. Not every Link was related by blood, but they ALL had the 1-syllable first name, the heroism, AND the selfless determination. In the future timeline after Ocarina of Time, the royal monarchy went from the Era of Prosperity to the flood, then started again with Wind Waker Zelda a.k.a. Tetra after Phantom Hourglass. In the past Ocarina of Time Link went back to, the monarchy moved on from where Ganondorf's scheme was foiled to the Great Calamity, the Age of the Burnin' Fields, and the Miracle at Fort Hateno (when Breath of the Wild Link n' Zelda was the last of the destiny's kids from before the Great Calamity). Maybe the royalty won't start again till after Ganondorf's dealt with. Kass DID say that Zelda was in love with Link, a common boy who was a Royal Knight's son. He wasn't a noble or a prince, so the Sheikah court poet didn't agree with their bond. He was jealous of the commoner bein' the princess's love. When he saw the miracle Zelda made by unlockin' that bright power (which also saved the survivors' lives by disablin' the Guardians at the swamp, gettin' the malice out), he accepted that the knight was the one who'd be the right guy.

Link locates the Griforce on Skyloft and uses it to destroy Demise. With Demise dead, Zelda is frddd, but Ghirahim arrives and kidnaps Zelda though Demise is dead in the present, Ghirahim intends to use Zelda as a sacrifice to resurrect him in the past. Link pursues Ghirahim into the past and fights through his army. He then defeats Ghirahim, who turns out to be the spirit of Demise's sword, but is unable to prevent Zelda from being used to reincarnate Demise's humanoid from. Groose guards Zelda's body while Link challenges Demise Link triumphs and absorbs Demise's essence into the sword, but defeated Demise curses Link and Zelda's descendants to be haunted by his reincarnated rage. To complete the sword's real, Link drives it into a pedestal in the Sealed Temple, with Fi accepting eternal slumber as a result. Groose, Link and Zelda return to their time while Impa remains behind and destroys the Time Gate, as she is a person of that time period and must watch over the Master Sword. In the present, the old woman greets them one last time before she dies and vanishes, revealing that she was Impa. The game ends with Zelda deciding to remain on the Surface to watch over the Triforce she and Link together establish the kingdom of Hyrule.
