Nice video Mike , We also use Googles Drive here in Michigan for Net Control logging and it has worked great for us too , I like it because if there in a change over of operators , everything is there for our relief net control operators to make an easy transition and not lose a beat . 73 W8WXM

That's the same exact reason why we use Drive for logging. Transitions are seamless and the liaison station can read off the log as they deliver the report to the Weather Service, greatly reducing error and speeding up reporting. In the coming weeks I'm going to produce a video that shows how to use Google Drive for that purpose.

Micheal, I am KC9VUP and am the Skywarn rep for Wood County in Wisconsin Rapids. What kind of spread sheet do you use for logging and reporting. I am looking to get rid of "paper" and having backup NCS with same data would be great. Can you help me out?

Allan, It's a homegrown spreadsheet. We use Google Drive to share it between the net control and the liaison station. It's kind of neat to see the speadsheet being edited in realtime between the two station. Send me an email at kb9vbr @ yahoo . com and I'll send you a copy.
