Very interesting. Maybe details? What shutter speed, how many sessions, in which tool were the frames stacked and processed? As far as I understand, the coma corrector was not used?

Would you say an 8" dobsonian could get decent deep sky views, just for observation rather than photography?
@TheAstroChannel994 жыл бұрын
Hey mate! Sorry I have taken so long to answer (Have only just got back into AP). It really depends on your Light Pollution level. I'm in a class 7 and anything more than Magnitude 5-6 is really just a fuzzy faint blur. But some star clusters are easier to see given their brighter, more concentrated details. I can see a vague blurry outline of M8 Lagoon with a widefield eyepiece, but a star cluster like 47 Tuc is much easier to look at.

Hi, can you get longer exposures with the mount you have? Does it track accurate enough for it? And by the way, which type of eq is it? Thanks a lot.

Hello, I really loved this video. Just recently I got my first telescope skywatcher heritage 130p. And I was wondering what did you use for eyepiece or what type of barlow ? :)
@TheAstroChannel993 жыл бұрын
I use Skywatcher eyepieces and have a couple different for visual observing. I have a super FOV 35mm, 24mm,12mm and a 4mm.

Hey Liviu! This was using an ATL-AZ GOTO computerised mount. So i cant take exposures for longer than about 25-30 minutes :P other wise the rotation is too noticeable.

Hey. Dont use barlow. Try to make more exposures. What type of mount did you use? Have you got goto? You need to make 3-4 or even 5minutes of exposure for 1 frame. And if you take maybe 30, 5minutes subs, that will be enough to capture enough light. Did you use any software? I recomend Deep sky stacker, to align all exposure. Without the software you never gonna have a fully detailed image. If you have any question, than DM me. Greetings!
