33:20 When you mentioned the bear attacks it reminded me that you might want to try to collect predator hides to upgrade the carry capacity for your arrows and quickthrow items. This is done at a trapper when you find them. There's also a charm called the Charm of Inari (I think) that will give you more resources every time you pick something up. Very handy especially in the early game. It's in one of the Shinto Shrines that usually involve a climbing puzzle.

You were right, the Azamo mission expects you to use the rooftops. Most people find out by accidentally dying, and then the game places them on top of a roof when it reloads. This is an excellent tactic whenever trying to use stealth. Just about anything can be climbed upon, and it's a great way to scope out the area. You mentioned wanting to keep the Traveler's armor on in order to find artifacts, etc. Simply use better armor for battle and to clear the area then put the travelers clothes back on for looting afterwards. You always have time to loot afterwards, even when with companions, as they'll wait for you before continuing wherever you're going. (Except when you clear camps that require you to blow up a cart and burn the place down, like the logging camp. In that case clear the camp, then loot before blowing up the cart). As another said, if you enable loadouts, it's almost a one button swap for the different armor/charms. Also, check out your armors in the menus, each has different perks. The Ronin armor you just got is best for stealth. As you upgrade your armors, the perks get better. Non-spoiler tip for stances: -Each stance is designed to be good at breaking the guard of specific opponents. You have the Stone Stance, (swords), and the Water Stance (shields). Try practicing swapping stances on the fly. Once you get the controls down, you'll be surprised at how fluid it is. Stone Stance is good against any opponent only wielding swords, but it won't be near as effective against spears, shields or the big brutes. Each stance has a guard breaking button combo. Check them out in the Stances Menu, but even without the combos, just tapping the triangle button does the trick if you're in the correct stance. Stealth tip: - Slow....down....!! Patience is absolutely key here. Take your time, feel the place out. Don't worry about companions as you're sneaking, they're invisible to your enemies until you get spotted, then they'll be attacked too. But until you're noticed, they're safe, even if they walk/sneak right in front of an enemy! Use the focus hearing, by pressing down on the touchpad to see where your enemies are, especially before entering/exiting buildings or going around corners. Stealth should be seen as a plan first, then attack way of combat. Again, just take your time. A successful stealth mission is very rewarding! Getting a hang of fighting without lock on is the way the game was meant to be played. At it's release they hadn't even added a lock on feature. This is especially true when fighting big groups of enemies because the game wants you to fluidly move from opponent to opponent. As you've noticed, locking on can disadvantage you by locking you to an opponent, making it easier for the other enemies to attack you from behind.

When a team mate goes down, leave them. Especially if they're useless like taka. They get back up after the fight ends. And you got 2 stances. Switch back and forth when you're fighting shields and swordsman. You're doing great, loving the series so far. Amazing game

That's not always the case. There's lots of missions where not protecting someone will kick you back to a checkpoint.

There is a time limit to revive them once they’re down. So leaving them is only plausible if you’re able to finish all the enemies off within that time limit. It doesn’t hurt to take 2 seconds to revive him/anyone else

In the settings I believe you can choose to have an indicator appear at the edge of your FOV to show which direction an archer is about to shoot you from if they are off screen/camera. You can also listen out for the audio cue of them yelling out “DO-SHO!” before they shoot.

3 pro tips: • When sneaking around tap on the touchpad to activate your sense mode to see enemies through walls •Go to settings and change the camera speed to fast, the default setting is actually very slow and fast feels like it should have been the default. • As you unlock alot of charms they will eventually act as stat boosts to specific armor sets allowing you to create different builds. Go to settings and toggle on *armor loadouts* this will save any equipped charms you put on a specific armor set so you don't have to keep changing them out manually when you want to wear something different. Loadouts will also save your masks and hats on that specific loadout.

Welcome back Sky. This game is beautiful, use right D-pad for photo mode (take plenty of pictures 😊). To keep Jin’s stamina while running, press O to do “that little slide” it will instantly reset his stamina. Use the right ‘stance’ to be more effective at combat. (Stone for swords, water for shields) Bears are easy to deal with 😉 they always strike twice. Just dodge twice then attack, they always follow that attack pattern. Or just headshot with the bow.

Great episode. If you hover over missions on the map, you can see what the reward is for them. The Tale of Lady Masako has a nice reward. (especially after you upgrade it) You should also look into upgrading the short bow. Upgrade costs and stat changes can be found on the gear screen.

reminder, switching stance is crucial in this game. making sure your switching stance correctly for each type of enemy will make you was more efficient. but you will get better with time

Your first battle after rescuing Taka, you could have hid in the bushes and let them pass. (less fun, I know) There was a skull icon on the one that intended to kill Taka before he struck. Keep an eye out for that since there will be later missions where you have to keep someone alive and when you see the skull, they have to be the main priority. One very handy skill to unlock is to deflect arrows. You don't need to parry them like sword attacks, just be holding block when they fire. Archers yell a warning before firing. They're still annoying and you should kill them first, but you don't lose health doing it. 2 handy combat moves that you start with are the stab, (hold triangle then release in the stone stance) and the kick. (jump then heavy attack in any stance) The kick will knock people back and often break shield blocks while the stab lets you cover ground toward a target. There an upgrade that gets you 2 or 3 stabs in a row to close a lot of distance and a stab is usually an insta kill if it connects. 2 stabs in a row will take you from outside spear range to killing the spearman. Aside from how effective they are, both moves also look pretty bad-ass.

Your Kunai and your bow are your best friends against archers, usually one hit from the Kunai kills them.

Btw you shouldn't just go from mission to mission you need to explore the island, you can compeletely miss special abilities, armor and many charms. The game doesn't just give it to you on a linear path.

Some advice? Remember to switch between stance before or during combat. One stance is not gonna work for all enemy types. Stone Stance is only effective against Swordsman and Water Stance is only effective against Shields (mainly the smaller ones)

So they removed the food from the island for two possible reasons: Firstly to feed their own army. Secondly to demoralise the people they were trying to conquer. If you take the food away and burn their crops the chances of them resisting and fighting back is much lower if they are starving. It was a shitty tactic but effective.

There are 3 types of mongol territories the camps (small mongol checkpoints), the outposts, (big mongol bases) and the farms (the mongols hold hostages inside) what I would recommend doing instead of just doing missions is try and find the mythic tales and as many of these mongol territory but if your looking for a challenge try to see how far you can get without doing any of these but I would recommend exploring the island more however

I would suggest taking the missions slow especially initially as you're getting used to games mechanics and layouts, idk if it's because of the editing but it felt like you were rushing the mission. The game is essentially like AC - Black Flag in terms of mixing stealth and upfront attacking without all the travelling on a ship. Also, I suggest doing the first part of all the main missions as they give rewards that are useful for later chapters of each main mission! This game is TOO mesmerizing to play.
