The meter that pops up when you get bit by a giga is a bleeding meter which does a ton of damage. The Allosaurus is going to have the bleeding effect as well

Slip, when building, instead of pointing yourself in random directions hoping things will clip correctly, you should instead center your crosshair (or where it would be) on the exact join you wish to connect to. For example, the sloped ceilings, they have a very thin side profile, pointing your crosshair directly at that thin profile was what gave you a green clip, the same as pointing your crosshair at the very top profile of side walls for the ceiling clip. Pointing around randomly is what's getting you frustrated with the building mechanic more so than Ark not running correctly. Love your vids, if you read this I hope it helps with future builds :)
