Oh lastly, make sure you get at least 30 Cooked meat, if not more. Even with Scuba Pant's high Hypothermic Insulation (200) you freeze and need a lot of Food..

Sl1p a couple of tips for you! 1) Pike Base dmg: 55 2) Sword Base dmg: 90 Also the DPS is (attacks per second/dmg) is 82.5 and 171 respectivly so even a 200% pike isnt as good as sword BUT the pike has a larger range of attack. When underwater you CAN use the spyglass or the GPS by equipping it before mounting and pressing Q!

Tipp from XB: to take the GPS out while on your Dino -> take it out while not on it and Press Q when you are on the Dino. That way you'll be able to see the GPS the whole time. Makes it a lot easier to know where you are and to finde the Lootcrates! Loved the Vid!! :)

Only two lootcrates can be up on the map at the same time , once one is looted it takes approx 45 min for another to respawn. One circle around the island will give you two drops with the possibilty of a 3rd if you go the the same spot were you started aka a complete lap. This has happend to me a few times. Also , before you mount your water dino , equip gps in hands , then you can press Q to bring up the gps on the Plesi !! This way you dont have to dismount to look at the gps. Just FYI, if you want to use a GPS on water dinos, here is a tip; when you are on the back of your dino you can press "Q" and it will pull out the item you most recently had equipped. This will let you use your GPS while riding a water dino and makes finding the coordinates of the drops a LOT easier. So if the GPS was your most recently equipped item, you simply hop on your dino, your character will automatically put it away, then you press Q and you will pull it out. Won't work with weapons but will also work with the spyglass if you want to use that while riding a water dino.

Hey Sl1p, that map Is accurate, and have found a crate at most those spots. The easiest way is to do the "Q" trick like the spyglass you found out about earlier, and I run in 1st person with the gps up. Most crates are in the dirt/weeds, but 3 are on to of the cave rocks. The trick is the drop spawns before the vegetation, so you can usually spot the twinkle. To save your time, you should find out when it was looted last.

I never realized why i tended to get a headache during underwater episodes of Ark (not just you but others as well)...and what you said about it being so blurry...I just realized, my eyes trying to continually focus on so much blur is probably what is causing it. I'm glad I'm not going to bother with much of the underwater stuff myself for a while. I hope that the ark peeps fix that (and the dang fog! omg!)

Pro tip (from amateur): if you pull up the gps or spyglass in your hand then hop on an underwater dino, you can bring the item to your face by hitting "Q". Eg: in the video you have your gps on slot 5. Before getting on Animal Mother, hit "5", hop on, then hit "Q". Gps comes up

Hey Slip, you can find the location of all the places where the loot crates spawn, The image you linked have some spawn points missing. And to see the coordinates on the one on the wiki you only have to hover your mouse over the dot that indicates the location. Hope this is helpful to you or anyone else that needs it. Idea, which im sure someone has already suggested, put a boat above each of the drops that way you can teleport between areas, looking for the items then take a bird from your base to your boat once you have gathered the drops

Hey Sl1p, to accelerate your island rounds you could tame another ichty (no matter what lvl as they all have same movement speed) and pump ONLY movement speed on him until you have around 300%. You'll make one round around the island in just a couple of minutes! And once you have 300% move speed you can pump some hps. They get 10% per lvl so it will take a lil' while but definitely worth it! It will be faster than anything you've ever seen :D

I tamed a Mosa, lvl 37 tamed out and have pumped nothing but movement speed and he is craaaazy fast now lol. I find myself wishing there were underwater alphas now to help leveling this beasty. I can't wait until they add the Liopleurodon!

Hey Sl1p. Just a little advice, the sword does a base damage of 90 and the pike does a base damage of 55. But the pike has a LOT more range, so they each have their own benefits. So right now, your pike ALMOST does as much as a primitive sword, but not quite. EDIT: Also, the sword swings a little faster, so it can get a few more hits in.

Two Deep Sea Loot Crates are initially spawned on server start that only despawn when looted or the server is shutdown, with only one loot crate spawning every 25 minutes. If both crates are looted at least 50 minutes must pass from the moment the first crate was looted before both crates will have respawned.

Slip, I notice that you are torn on using the pike vs the sword. FYI at 100% damage the pike does 55 and the sword does 90, so in order for the pike to do as much as the sword it would need to be around 163% damage. Hope this helps, keep up the amazing work and may the stuff n things be with you!

There are 16 different positions for the deep sea loot crate. Only two of those have an active lootcrate. After "taking" a lootcrate it will respawn at a random location (out of the possible 16) after 45 minutes. I do search for those multiple times a day, and I created a really nice strategy that I can check all those 16 locations and collect the lootcrates (2) whitin a few minutes. :)

Sl1p. the Underwater Loot Crates don't always spawn at the locations. They will respawn randomly in the locations. They are almost invisible without the goggles. S>

sl1p when you get off of your mount to check the levels of the dinos and check you coordinates make sure you keep the item that you want on when going on youre dino and press the q button and it saves you having to get of you mount constantly. 😊😀

i wonder if they spawn on foundation, (like bacons are blocked) placed some where i dont want them to tighten search area, now waiting for bunch of species x on my perfect 179 mosa and then will check if this works, if they will still spawn, then will place generator with lights in that spot, something like ~ 15 spots wont be high amount of resources, anyway totally worth it and reduce searching time. Hey Sl1p! Your pike does about 72 Damage and the Sword does 90. Pike base damage is 55 +31,5% from apprentice / Sword base damage 90. But i'd say it depends on personal preference, Sword is fast and got good DPS, but the Pike has a very good AOE...
