TUL is one airport I've never been to. Never been to Tulsa - or Oklahoma for that matter. That's all Foreign Territory for me. Anyhow, good views at takeoff. I keep looking for Ree Drummond's Ranch. Yes, my GF still watches her shows and still makes some of her meals. And good views of I-278 over Staten Island. Good view of EWR, Bayonne and the Passaic River. Good view of Hart and City Island. Good view of the Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridge. The Throgs Neck is a 2 in 1, both a viaduct and a bridge. Lots of sentimental memories for me of taking off from and arriving into LGA. I'm flashing back to when I did this in a Boeing 707. Then, came the Energy Crisis and Oil Shortages and the 707s went bye-bye and were replaced with 727s. But George Kennedy had it right when he said "the 707, can do everything but read" in the first Airport movie. Anyhow, it you're up in Canada, you know what weekend it is. That's right, it's Thanksgiving Weekend, so get your turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes ready. If you're in Newfoundland, have your seafood dishes ready. That snack you had looked like a one way ticket to Type 2 diabetes.

That was coincidental - long wait after push back and then a long wait at the gate making it necessary to tell people to remain in their seats until seat belt sign is off.

You think you could record ENY3726 Miami FL to Marsh Harbour Abaco Bahamas ?
@sla312 ай бұрын
Do you know what’s crazy? I was supposed to fly to the Bahamas and fly on envoy from the Bahamas to Miami earlier this week. But hurricane Milton forced me to change my flights.

It’s surprising that you went on a 3hr+ Embraer flight
@sla312 ай бұрын
Three hours on an Embraer I can do. Three hours on a CRJ not so much… 😂

Wow -- that trip is 1,235 miles. A non Long Range (LR) Emb-175 could not do that trip, correct?
@sla312 ай бұрын
Operationally speaking the aircraft can do the route no problem. Typical equipment implementation/utilization speaking, it is a long route for the type. Off the top of my head I can think of one other ERJ-175 route that's longer as Alaska operates year round SEA-ICT service on the ERJ-175 and that's like 1,400+ miles. Honestly though, as a passenger, I'd rather fly on an ERJ-175 for 4 hours than a 737. They're way more comfortable.

Can you fly Alaska Airlines from SFO to LAX October 19th? It’s a E175 leaving at 10:30am. Im the pilot for that flight.

I wish I could my friend, but unfortunately I have other appointments that day that I have to deal with at home.
