Don't forget that our massive, 33 flight, around the world journey begins on Wednesday! In September/October, I set out to fly around the Earth, and after 16 days, 13 airlines, 33 flights, and over 38,000 miles, I landed back in Kansas City, Missouri after visiting 13 different countries. Starting on Wednesday and then covering the next 9 weeks I'll be posting those flights in order, so you too can take this incredible journey, exactly as I did! The flights will be posted every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday until all 33 flights are live! So check back three times every week to take this incredible journey with me!

Yes, your Super-Amazing Race is about to begin!! Be sure to read the clues VERY carefully, Drink the Ooze before each flight and remember that it's 7 years per hour, so make each second count and win that 10 Million Dollar prize.

Wow. I was watching the movie, The Student (2017), and now, I'm watching your latest takeoff from TUL. In this movie, a law school professor catches one of her students cheating on his final exam and she gives him an F and also gives him a failing grade for the whole course. Well, this sociopthic student didn't take this too well and plots revenge against the professor. When a movie has Alicia Leigh Willis as the heroine, you KNOW that the villain will plot against her. This keeps happening to Jessica Morris too. Anyhow, another fine, Super-Fantabulous video on your part.

Could you maybe add BWI or IAD to your general flight list in the future?
@sla3123 сағат бұрын
I mean, no US airport is ever not on my general flight list 😂. In general that's the bread and butter of my channel.. There's been more international stuff recently, but ultimately I am still based in the US. So, I'm sure those will pop up at some point in the future.

Skylite Productions I have a question. Did you connected to Southwest Airlines New Mexico One ?
@sla3119 сағат бұрын
I did not. It was just chance it was there and it was operating a different flight than the one I was connecting too.

Never Seen them retract flaps after gear down. Wonder if that was a go around and you just didn't know it
@sla3118 сағат бұрын
This is actually very common on Southwest. I can't point to a specific other video because I don't remember which flights they were, but I have quite a few Southwest flights on the channel now where this is the case. This is a case of Southwest being Southwest and trying to maximize their aircraft's flight times. They'll request a higher approach speed and when they then have to slow down they'll extend the gear first to shave off speed more quickly. Then they'll extend the flaps.

Ive been with WN for 13 years, never saw this either, and was wondering. Thanks.

@@Southwest_923WRmaybe I’ve just gotten lucky, but I know I have other videos of this same thing happening because I’ve had these same type of comments and questions on other Southwest videos 😂.

Do they still have a two minature limit on the flights??
@sla3120 сағат бұрын
That's a good question. I don't really know. Despite getting free drink coupons several times a year in the mail thanks to my A-List status, I don't usually partake. The camera might not be as steady then haha. Back when I worked for American/Envoy it was really just up to the flight attendant. If they thought you were holding your weight, so to speak, they'd just keep serving you.

Why don't you have new flights for your channel
@sla3118 сағат бұрын
I'm not sure what you mean my friend. Every flight I post is new, I'm not getting them from somewhere else. I film them all myself and only post them here. So every upload is new.
@sla3118 сағат бұрын
If you mean why did I just post this flight when I filmed it a year ago, it's because I upload 365 videos per year. That requires a lot of flying and a lot of filming. Inevitably some videos get put on the back burner for awhile. See, I have to have a backlog of some sort or I'd never be able to post every day of the year. So, what ends up happening is I take a trip, I then start to process all of that footage, and most of it gets posted relatively quickly. For instance, I just finished a major trip where I flew around the world, filming 33 new flights. That ended a week ago, and those video start posting on Wednesday. So from Wednesday through the end of the year, all you'll see if flights from that trip, posted less than a month after filming in some cases. But, while I'm flying, filming, and then editing all of those, I still have to post videos. Hence the backlog and hence why sometimes videos that I post are older. But they're only "older" in the sense that they were filmed longer ago. They're still new flights to the channel, as I've never posted them before or anywhere else. I suspect that might be what you're referring too.

@sla3117 сағат бұрын
@mikeenyart well then now you know 😁. In a perfect world I'd be able to upload a flight the day I took it, but we don't live in a perfect world. I run everything here by myself. And it takes me time to process footage. So I keep a backlog of flights that aren't boring, they're just good filler for when I'm between major trips. Like today's video. It was from a previous trip where the point was flying on a different flight that was posted last year. This one, was good filler. A perfectly good flight that could sit in the wings waiting to be posted when I needed time to do something else. Which in this case was editing the 33 flights from my most recent mega-trip. Which as I said above, starting Wednesday, will be what's posted for the rest of the year. So, the rest of the full flight uploads this year will be from either this month, or the last week of September. And then I'm now planning my next major trip, which will be in January of 2025. So when we get to January, I'll once again be posting slightly older flights that I've been sitting on while I fly, film, and edit everything from the new trip. Hope that helps explain why sometimes a video like this is posted so long after I film it.
