This is flight 13 of 13 from my recent journey around the world. In September/October, I set out to circumnavigating the Earth, and after 9 days, 8 airlines, 13 flights, and over 24,000 miles, I eventually landed back in Kansas City after visiting San Francisco, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Doha, London, Dublin, Munich and Newark. Over the last 5 week I've posted the entire journey in full, from start to finish! That's over 56 hours of full flight footage! If the video doesn't have this bit at the top of the description, and in the pinned comment, it is not part of the around the world flights. Recently I took a flt from LAS to PDX and I remember sitting there thinking "this is where I belong", ie being on a commercial jet was somehow my "home". And I can see by your vids that I'm not alone, lol.

I can’t believe how that 737-700 used that entire runway with what seems to be flaps 10! Some good engine derating going on here! As always, great video!

I'm glad you enjoy them my friend! Sometimes I get lucky on flights and they're just quiet flights. This particular one was a weekday morning, and the flight was maybe half full. So, I had the whole row to myself, and since most of the people on the plane seemed to be business travelers, it was a very quiet flight as everyone just kept to themselves. That's my kind of flight haha.

What a great finale all around the world flight this was! Connecting Kansas City all the way west to Kansas City through 12 airports all around the world! Can't believe we are now in the 800 inflight episodes and the first 200 inflight 800 episodes had Newark in them which I just cannot believe too!

I remember flying out of Beirut for safety concerns the captain took us up to 40K ft which was above legal limits for that particular TWA 707. Very painful on the ears. The year was 1971.

WOWOWOWOWOW!!! You did it!! You completed your Amazing Race around the world and Phil Koeghan has handed you your million dollar prize!! And... you proved to us all first hand that the Earth really is round and not flat. The problem is for Flat Earthers, you've probably shattered their entire sense of reality for good. So, just how DO they explain what happens on The Amazing Race anyway? Anyhow, I just finished watching today's BnB.. Jeez!! Will Eric Forrester live or die????? The suspense is killing us!!

@@sla31 This is why I don't put up any content on YT. It's a very savage, vicious, cruel, poorly regulated jungle. I've heard stories of people not being paid what YT owed them, being left high and dry with no payment at all for their content and no real legal recourse to turn to. Their rules seem to be wildly inconsistent as well, like how it is on FB. I'm glad YT has been treating you relatively well, but I know a lot of other people haven't been so fortunate.

Great fly and nice final flight! According to your flight24radar, you flew 58 flights for business reasons at the time of writing this comment. Do you fly that because you have a job related reason and what job requires that?
@sla31 Жыл бұрын
Well technically, this channel is my job so that means every flight I take is for business. But no, I list everything as leisure now even though it's my job. The ones I listed for business are super old flights from when I worked for American and Envoy. I'd fly to different airports to TDY (temporary duty assignment) and I listed those as for business back then.

Do you live Kansas City, Missouri?
@sla316 ай бұрын
I live south of Kansas City. Quite a ways south really. I live in Southeast Kansas, near the Missouri border. The closest larger city near me is Joplin, Missouri, but since Joplin only has CRJ-200 service to ORD, I often fly out of Tulsa or Kansas City. So, I don't live there, but I do consider MCI to be one of my home airports.
