Absolutely NO background voiceover to disrupt the noise of aircraft Absolutely NO disturbing montage or annoying background music Absolutely NO B S f disturbing of VPN sponsorship in the middle. Just pure aviation videos with absolutely no sounds to disturb the pure sound of planes. This is what Skylite Productions is all about there is simply no other competitor like SP this is easily the very best that they get😊

Thank you for one more video! My favorite videos from your channel are when you sit where you can see the engine turning.
@sla31 Жыл бұрын
Thanks my friend. Those are my favorite too. The problem is that to sit in the seats that have those views is typically more expensive haha. And I run this channel by myself, out of my own pocket. So... I'm usually relegated back in economy hahaha. Thanks for watching!

You should try making a video with the flight ATC comms in the background
@sla31 Жыл бұрын
So I’ve actually experimented with that before. It is a great idea but the problem is one of time. I run everything on this channel by myself. I plan all my trips, take them, film everything while on them, edit everting, write all the video descriptions, reply to comments, etc. it take a lot of time to do all of that and upload videos daily. I currently have 80 videos in queue that need editing. And that’s just standard editing. It is extremely time consuming to go through and get all the ATC clips for a full flight. From ground to tower, departure, whatever centers we fly through, and on and on. It’s doable, but take a ton of time. Time I just don’t have sadly. And also; sadly, I don’t make nearly enough off of this channel to higher an editor 😂.

My grandma lives in Kansas City so we would fly from Portland OR (where I live) to MCI I’m flying to Kansas City this year for my aunts weeding we used to fly Southwest Airlines but then they stopped going direct so now we fly Alaska airlines to Kansas City also love the new Kansas City terminal

As someone who uses MCI as one of my home airpots, I can't say enough good things about the new terminal. So, I agree! Thanks for watching my friend!

WOWOWOW!!! Great views!! Good view of the AK headquarters building. Good view of Angle Lake. Good view of Star Lake. Good view of Hwy 176 and north Auburn, And very good view of Lake Washington and Mercer Island. Lake Washington is classified as a mountain lake even though it's at sea level, and it's also oligotrophic, which means cold and deep. This lake is over 200 feet deep in some places, and it's why they had to build floating bridges to go over it. Back in the late 1950s, many parts of the lake were unsafe to swim in because of the industry along the shores. In response, the cities around the lake closed down the mills and made active steps to clean up the lake and today, it's very swimmable on a hot summer day. This was an environmental success story. Anyhow, loved the amazing views of the Rockies along the way. One of these days, you'll have to fly in and out of Paine Field in south Everett. This airport opened up to commercial air traffic about 5 or 6 years ago with AK being one of the airlines that serves it. Yes, you can even take the Green Swift Bus there if you don't have a lot of luggage. PAE is at a higher elevation than Sea-Tac. Sea-Tac is at about 400 feet and Paine Field is at 580. So... to rest up from the jet lag after watching this video, I think I'll watch the new Ant Man and Wasp movie Qunatumania and also soak in the sun's UV rays to restock my vitamin D reserves.

I do need to do that. As much as I visit the PNW and I've never utilized that service. I guess the problem is that you can't fly there from anywhere around me, so it's logistically a bit tougher.
@scottbridge9391 Жыл бұрын
@@sla31 Yes, you'll have to go to LAX, SFO or LAS to get to PAE. I'm going to have to visit that airport myself one of these days. It's a LOT closer to me than Sea-Tac. The other big plus is they have far fewer flight delays and things just go faster there. The big caveat is they have very limited parking options, fewer amenities, and also limited hotel accommodations nearby. You're probably better off taking a taxi, airport shuttle or the Community Transit Green Swift Bus to get there. Or you could just have someone drop you off, which is probably what a lot of people do. For me, I could take the Blue Swift Bus to Airport Rd and then, catch the Green Swift Bus to the airport. There was a time when they did the Snohomish County Air Show at Paine Field in the 3rd week of August. It ran for 4 hours on both Saturday and Sunday and they had just about every kind of aircraft you could think of doing their stunts. One year, I think it was 1990, they had a Russian fighter make an appearance, definitely something that you didn't see everyday. I think that was that same year they also did a day time fireworks show. One time, they have a Boeing 727 doing acrobatic stunts. Glad I wasn't a passenger on that flight! It showed you what a civil jetliner COULD do minus the passengers. You would buy your tickets to watch the show, but there were many places around the airport where you could watch the aerial acrobatics, like I did. I would go to the north edge of Paine Field to watch them. They ended the show 30 years ago, probably for financial reasons and possibly also because of new safety regulations, but it was definitely something to look forward to watching when it was going on.

Flying in 3 weeks on Alaska Air and I am terrified. Hope it is smooth like this.
@sla31 Жыл бұрын
Everything will be great my friend. Alaska is a great airline, and listen... Even if everything isn't completely smooth like this, try not to fret. A little turbulence is nothing to worry about. Listen, if you have any questions about flying, the flight, or even technical questions about what you're hearing at a certain point of the video just leave a comment and I'll answer it. I read every comment, and I reply to as many as I can. I'll always reply to anyone who has questions about flying that will help ease their anxieties. There's no stupid question my friend. I mean it, I'd be happy to answer anything that will help you! Thanks for watching!

I've had this suggested before, and the reason I don't is because my videos are intended to be the next best thing to actually being on the plane itself. As if you were sitting in that seat instead of me. So, I don't include anything that you wouldn't see when looking out the window. And there's no text flying past the windows to tell you where you are haha. My videos are intended to be as pure as possible. Thanks for watching my friend!
