I lived in Slab City from November 2019 to May 2020. I'm in love with the place and the people. I felt it was magical in many ways. I will be returning in the fall of 2021. I'm glad you met Cornelius and had a good time with them. ❤ Just recently found your channel. New sub. 🙂

Awww Hannah, this is awesome. It's so cool to see how different your aesthetic is from Mac's. You both showed the place in different ways. I think if you had just let the clips you had run it would have been really nice because there was a really eclectic vibe that you captured but was interrupted by the chopping it up. I had a similar experience in N.M....we were driving to Taos and stopped in this tiny town, a store and a few houses. One of the houses was part art gallery, we ended up hanging with the couple that lived there for a few hours...interesting people....

Loved your video! I love Salvation Mountain mostly because its messaging is positive and about love and peace. Then East Jesus is like a revolt on Leonard Knight’s positive messaging. Knight and the founder of East Jesus, Charlie Russell, did not see eye-to-eye and so that’s why Russell went East of Salvation Mountain and created East Jesus. I just found East Jesus dark....very dark energy there. Not a fan tbh, but still very interesting!

Nice Video! Place looks interesting - there is a long history to that area.... Salton Sea was suppose to be a resort type housing development but failed back in the 50's 60's - the water went bad ..... Mav's video was good as well .....but he did not mention you much or even film you that much .....However; for what it's worth- You looked good as usual.... Even with a hang over.....hang in there.... :-)

Yeah. Lived in the SW desert for years. A lot of secluded, eccentric desert rat, artsy type folks who didn't (typically) grow up with suburban money. Which is fine.
