As per Aci code there is guidelines for a mininum thickness of 1 way and 2 way slabs (including flat slab, slab w/o interior beams) For your sample 2 way slab it is stated their that DEFLECTIONS SHALL BE CALCULATED IF YOU WANT TO USE LESS OF MINIMUM VALUES. So if i used the minimum values i dont need to compute deflection. Any comments??? TY in advance
