Slab Wood(A value added Business)

This video shows how Peter and I went to an Amish sawmill to pick up Slab wood for our son Jacob and his wife!
Jacob and Melissa sell firewood at their home and have made a small business out of buzzing cord wood from Slab wood that they purchase!

Great video! That sounds like a nice little business your son & daughter in law have. I don’t really like cold weather but I don’t like hot weather either. Early spring and fall feels the best to be working outside. It’s nice to see both you & Peter together in your videos. Hi Paul, I always love your comments! We would love to see your wife in your videos, but we understand about that camera shyness(I'm probably the shyest person you'll ever meet in your life-for real), but we watch this other KZbin channel called Less Junk More Journey and it's about a family from Tennessee and they live in an Airstream and travel all over the country(They are in Alaska right now) and anyway, they kind of inspired me to start this channel with Peter! They are not farmers, but their family and their story is so real, so encourage your wife to not worry about what people will think! Anyway, we love your videos and your channel and we love to see South Dakota from your perspective! By the way, we are getting a Runnings in Lockport NY(about 26 miles from us)-we are so excited lol! Back to the Land organic farmers I’ll half to go & check out that KZbin channel u mentioned. I had a couple KZbinrs inspire me. Ryan from How Farms Work & Wes Pandy from oneloneyfarmer channel. I like oneloneyfarmer’s repair videos. He can b a little foul mouthed sometimes but I enjoy watching him fix things. Ryan on the other has great videos about all the things that go on around his brother’s & dad’s farm. That’s great ur getting a Runnings store. We’d be lost without our store. Lol! I admit I was a little camera shy at first but the more videos I did the more comfortable I felt. Maybe sometime I’ll b able to convince my wife to appear in one video. Take care & talk later, Paul
