Joshua Plyman According to the comic books (or graphic novels), Slade Wilson/Deathstroke the Terminator targeted the Teen Titans NOT because they cut his youngest son (Joseph Wilson or Jericho)'s throat, but because his eldest son -- Grant Wilson AKA the first Ravager -- was contracted by the H.I.V.E. to assassinate them, and died while attempting to kill them. Deathstroke thus held them (the Teen Titans) responsible for Grant's death and vowed to finish Grant's contract. As for Joseph/Jericho's throat being slashed, that happened BEFORE he ever met the Teen Titans. It was the Jackal's men who slashed Joseph's throat in an attempt to acquire information from Slade Wilson; information which Slade refused to give. Not only did that event cause Joseph to be mute, but Slade Wilson also lost an eye and a loving wife, his former military combat instructor, Adeline Kane. :)

She did, but that was only after she learned of his secret career as a mercenary, which led to the endangerment of their youngest son, Joseph. She was hurt and angry that her husband, which she loves very deeply, could jeopardize their child's life like that. I don't think there was ever a point where she lost all feelings for Slade Wilson. So yes, Adeline Kane was a loving wife to Slade Wilson, even including the point where she shot him in the right eye. That was just her expressing her outrage, hurt, and betrayal.
