How Does It Feel was broadcast on 7/3/1975 and featureds the band arguably giving their best performance for a mimed track they ever did, Holder seems untroubled by whatever it was that made him unbelievably bad at miming and all in all this is a mimed performance that brings the gravitas of the track to life, I think it is a wonderful testament to what many Slade fans and music lovers alike consider to be Slade's best ever record, and one that Jim Lea claims, who wrote this originally as the 'first song I ever wrote', that it is his favourite song of the many many that flowed effortlessly from him.
