Jonathan King to me always came off as a pompous windbag. He thought he was the center of the universe. He was a name dropper “I was Paul McCartney’s best friend blah blah blah”. Pure narcissistic behavior.

Great song, but it did not follow the ‘usual faire’ of the ‘Dr Martin’ songs

If only I could come up with a system which allowed me to pop back to this great music period, and sort of blend into the background unnoticed, and stay there forever.❤

It was a privilege growing up in the 70s .Without Black life crap,no-one had heard of Muslims .We played Japs and English .British bulldog etc .Hopscotch ,Nocky nine door .Basically British culture before the invaders invited by our traitorous governments

From the best Album they ever did, 'Whatever Happened to Slade', Loud and Heavy, Brilliant.

Best Frontman in rock and not even close, Slade could just take a crowd, see Reading Festival 1980, when thanks to the newly staffed music press Slade's music was denied radio play they walked on to the stage and blew every other act away. I understand Slade supported Aerosmith in 1975, went down a storm and the latter waited an hour to come on stage. Thin Lizzy backed up Slade in 1973 and were told to up their game live, as they weren't up to scratch. In fact the Who approached Slade for some pointers about how to take a crowd, I understand.

AMAZING!! This is a Mozart Wizard production by the Boyz! Absolutely astonishing how they could put in so much different things without get it overloaded! The harmony between the wounreboul and the big power is top notch!! One of the best songs ever! ❤️ I will say that Dave Hill always have crazy costumes, but in this particular show, he get all right 👌

So that's why you see occasional shots with Dave playing bass. I was aware that Jim sometimes played violin but didn't realise he played piano as well. I'm curious, parts of this video show their "In Flame" colours. Is that where this song came from originally or was footage just borrowed?

Slade ruled in the 70s.. and so they did in 80s despite reigning of heavy metal.. old school and old skills were always in trend.
