This is a great song. As a side note, I know the Leather District where this was filmed very well. And though it's been a long time since I've visited, the Blue Diner (now South Street Diner) was a favorite back in the 90's. It's nice to see it again. Thanks for including it in the video.

Ive listened to this song a lot when it came out. I thought it was two versions of slaine talking, him using and clean. Now i really hear it as three different versions now, my subjection is my own whether right or wrong. Going on, I hear three different voices talking, the first voice (verse) was two voices, him using and his regret that went hand in hand, and the other side of the booth was the realization that judgement didnt work but support would work to help him out. The third voice was the clarity to stop the battle of using and regretful self loathing that often just continues the cycle. Such a deep great song. Slaine keeps getting better!

Slaine making peace with his past. Glad to see the growth of spirit in another brother. We all have to remember we all went through some shit, but that doesn't have to be the narrative of the story to the grave. I am married with a daughter, and his past songs have really driven an arrow into my heart, my wife loves to sing along as well.
