No worry. I lived the madness too but I had my first kids at... 36. Now at 57, I'm so happy I didn't gave up. But the struggle never end, now I have 3 grown kids and it's another challenge than what we did when we were young. Harder, but the reward is................. (I have no fucking words for it, but my kids are my blessing and the only thing that make sense)

We stayed trapped in yesterday and that's the legend of our fall. Sometimes we get stuck so far in the past that it's difficult to look forward and see a brighter tomorrow, but that's why it's the legend of our fall, legends tend to take it farther than most others are willing to, And we strive during such difficult moments, and that's why our stories get longer and longer every time we tell them.

Ive listened to this song a lot when it came out. I thought it was two versions of slaine talking, him using and clean. Now i really hear it as three different versions now, my subjection is my own whether right or wrong. Going on, I hear three different voices talking, the first voice (verse) was two voices, him using and his regret that went hand in hand, and the other side of the booth was the realization that judgement didnt work but support would work to help him out. The third voice was the clarity to stop the battle of using and regretful self loathing that often just continues the cycle. Such a deep great song. Slaine keeps getting better!

Slaine making peace with his past. Glad to see the growth of spirit in another brother. We all have to remember we all went through some shit, but that doesn't have to be the narrative of the story to the grave. One day we all gonna live on as memories, and we decide if those memories we leave are good or bad. Treat others as you want to be treated, keep pushing, and remember you cant walk forward and look back at the same time eventually you'll trip, and you see what happens to people when they stay down its not a pleasant existence.

You was a good kid too. This verse hits on another level. Has more effect on me than all hours by a mentalhealth Doctor. It reaches me through one of my darkest hours and gives me again a new good view about my past. I wasn't born as a failure. The situations made me to who i am now. And i still work hard on my inner acces to get happy again since my damn burnout. I know slaine will probably never read this but i wanna thank you through my deepest aspect of my soul. Your music helped me so many times to forge me on a new way i never thought i could afford the energy to do it so. Greetings from Switzerland to one of my "Lifesavers" thank you Slaine. I appreciate evetything you done to me through your music.

Slaine is an artist that keeps moving, keeps growing. He knows he's responsible for the music. Over the years, he's progressed in many ways, he's adapted in styles but always kept his own. He hasn't sold out to what the flavour of the month is. And for the record, I can relate to everything he has written, the only thing I can't is getting divorced. I am married with a daughter, and his past songs have really driven an arrow into my heart, my wife loves to sing along as well. I've watch Slaine on movies, I try to tell my work mates to listen to him, and when I do, they compare him to a more rough Eminem. I tell my friends, "he could kill Eminem in any rap". Slane if you read this, I just want you to know, your music keeps us going, keeps us faithful in real hiphop, keeps us hoping we can live long enough for history to repeat itself. Love your music - Spaz - Australia.
