"injury" is a word used by pussies to take their toys and go home, spoiling it for everybody else. "injury" is the word used when "you're mean" doesn't work anymore because you're a fucking adult, doing adult things, with COMPLETE knowledge of your ability and inability to do a task. i'd love to be a physical athlete. my lungs literally stop functioning with extreme exertion.... when it's sad enough that "exertion" for me could be sneezing too hard. i've tried joining in but i'm out before anybody else breaks a sweat. so no. "injury" is not a word i accept or even acknowledge to be a reason for everybody not being allowed to do/share/sell/promote/enjoy this sport or any sport. i'm an old skool skater. legs, toes, arms, ribs, backs... everything has been broken because of a board with wheels. the only saving grace is the acceptance of it and the full knowledge of what will happen while participating. getting away scratch free is unheard of. you'll get cut, grazed, peeled, penetrated and bruised, you can even DIE.... but skating is still a thing. "injury" is a pssy word. "injury" is something only a doctor should say. normies, should say "i don't want to play cos i'm too soft." weaklings everywhere. and you all enforce eachothers deluded state of mind where everything MUST be 100% free of pain, discomfort and by virtue of that, it includes all discovery. "Injury" is a word for pussies who want to say "not worth discovering". if that was true, being burned by fire, frozen by ice, hospitalised by gravity... these are pains worth discovering. some people don't survive. and they're not supposed to survive. they are supposed to die and let the rest of us, smart enough, to make a better life. but no. everybody is a retard now, everybody is fucking stupid. and people use the word "injury" when the reality is "NOBODY FUCKING WATCHED". have i made my point?

I saw what I'd consider to be the worst ankle injury I've ever seen in my life watching the tryouts or something like that for one of the teams. I wanna say the dude's name was Adam Hooker or something like that. I know the last name was definitely "Hooker". That a pretty unique and unforgettable last name haha. I'm just not 100% about the "Adam" part.. but yeah, his foot was literally turned sideways 90 degrees. So the outside part of his foot was flat against the ground and pretty much the only thing holding his foot onto the rest of his leg was just some skin, muscle, and cartilage and there was bone that was clearly visible as it was broken and ripped straight thru his skin.... I'm honestly feeling a bit queasy right now just from thinking about it!!... Anyway, I feel certain it's on KZbin if you wanna go watch it. It just pains me to watch that kind of stuff TBH... So just don't seek out those kind of videos personally.. but if you like that kind of stuff then you'd love that video! Plus, they even included footage of his visit to the ER and post-surgery. The crazy part is that he went on to make a full recovery and became one of the most well known players in all of Slam Ball!

***** It was a "legal" sport - I don't see why it would be illegal. Considering how weird and new the sport was to people, it didn't become widely accepted by mainstream sports fans and the league dissolved after only a few seasons. It is kind of an evolution of basketball with some aspects of hockey more than American football. As for the players, the ideal body type for this game would probably be an American football player with the typical body type of a wide receiver - tall long arms,, freakishly strong, fast with hops or a Lebron James body type. I think one of the reasons for its lack of popularity is that there aren't young people or kids playing it which would account for the lack of a strong fan base unlike other major sports like basketball and football. Two major reasons for this are the lack of courts - they are probably ridiculously expensive - and parents not wanting their kids to play such a violent sport even if the courts are there.
