You and me both mate. Still have the original bg1 and bg2 sleeves with multiple cds. They helped formed my love of rps and pc gaming.

I actually thought it was a troll when you said you had to manually delete every single save file. I thought that was a ludicrous requirement but THEN when I went into the game to look into it, you can delete an entire campaign's worth of saves in one go. So it's quick and easy to do, thankfully.

You can delete the Baldurs Gate folder too and then uninstall too.

That's not how an RPG is enjoyed. Maybe you should switch back to Gears of Wars, Wow, whatever hidden world MMO you may come up with, or even Diablo, if you wanna look up for builds. Loon. If you're sure you're not using Shadowheart on a specific playthrough, if she dies on the Nautiloid (and probably anywhere else) her artifact comes to you. You can also choose to discard it at that point as well...

When I tried to drop it, it came back and stuck to me. Couldn't get rid of it. The only way to avoid it is to not recruit her and also not loot her stuff.

I hope that this warning to delete existing save games and manually uninstall the game isn't an indicator of other kinds of technical issues they weren't able to fix by moving up the launch 1 month. Because its quite surprising that they ask this, I don't recall any other early access doing this. Old saves not working should be expected, old mods not working should be expected, but "delete the game before installing it" is .. worrying. I still manage to be hyped as hell though!

Probably because the fact that Act 1 is 33% percent bigger, so it is probably safer to install from new than to modify.

You can still have them together, it's just gonna be a bit rocky in the start. Same way lae'zel and shadowheart can be together on a team. I would imagine there is a way to get them to abandon their mission/hate towards each other and grow from it. gonna make a very interesting playthrough for sure.

No one needs a Baldur's Gate before you play video, or any sort of guides : Baldur's Gate is an RPG, not an airport terminal. Brain tissu required to play these games, though. What Baldur's Gate doesn't need also is a huge wave of newb gamerz not knowing what an RPG is and hoping to mod sephiroth sword in ASAP. These peeps shouldn't be catered for, leave them to dye as they deserved. Look what they did to Diablo. Yes. Dye, yes. You read that right, sir.
