It’s been a little frustrating for me moving from clarinet to alto sax and finding both the low end and slap tonguing much more difficult. But perhaps this video will help kill two birds with one stone.

I manage to sound like you but each note sounds one step and a half higher than the note without slap. Why is that?

How do you make noises like Leo P? And can you make those noises on tenor sax.

I believe most of that is overtones and altisimo notes. I think he has made videos on both of those.

Overtones. Also Leo P sometimes uses his lower teeth on the reed to do those high notes
