These SounDigital clones do their rated power, and a little over at 14.4v and up. Nice that they opted for the clip light on the knob. Don't do like Willy...got me 😂great video brotha! 👍

Used to be a part of the group. I like you but people in the group got old so I ditched it and went my own route. Cool video tho

" You can't run 5k on alligator clips with a 500 watt sub" lol I'd love to see how much power you could get out of it off stock electrical before it clips.

Do both sets of terminals need power and ground to receive full power

Absolutely. 1/0 wire for each

Just seen these 5k for under 300 and questioned if they really do rated power but also question its durability aswell.
@slickwillybudgetking7 ай бұрын
As long as not abused and adequate installation, durability seems good. Few videos around of them doing rated power or very close.

So do you think that the slapz8k will actually do 8k on a 80ah lithium bank with a 300amp alt 1/0 ofc

Will this amp run with only 1/0gauge run or do you have to do 2/0gauge?
@slickwillybudgetking2 ай бұрын
Needs 2 runs of 1/0
@ecmospec14982 ай бұрын
@@slickwillybudgetking okay thx, I had a Soundqubed Q1-3500D that had 2 1/0 gauge runs and it could run with just one.

1 quality 1/0 can carry 350a. You need over 500a ability. So 2 runs of 1/0 ofc or welding cable
@ecmospec14982 ай бұрын
@@slickwillybudgetking I’ll run 2/0 ofc with 350A Anl fuses on each run

Wow. This was not a test showing with the amp is capable of. This was just powering the amp off and making sure it works. It says keep the comments respectful, but it was not respectful about this video. This is one of the most ghetto disrespectful ways of testing an amp.
