Filmed at the Victoria Hall in Stoke On Trent on July 24th, this concert marked Slash's return to the town in which he grew up. The show came towards the end of his 2010/11 world tour in support of his debut solo album "Slash". Lead vocals on the tour were handled by Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge and the setlist featured tracks from Slash's solo album, from his albums with both Slash's Snakepit and Velvet Revolver and classic songs that he co-wrote for Guns'n'Roses.

its not about how technically good Slash is(though he is brutal in that respect too, a lot more mature than he is given credit for), its about how the band sounds, these guys are playing Rock and Roll faithfully that's why people love it, that's why it makes the hair on my arms go stiff. Music for people who love music. Simple.

Just awesome. I don't really like using that word because it gets over used by teeny boppers or whatever... but this really does sound friggin awesome. Love it. Thank the Heavens for good music... my soul would be lost without it. EDIT: Also, just noticed how much like a Bond Theme the beginning of the solo is... it's got that sort of ethereal feel to it that those themes sometimes have. I think it's just the progression itself, but some of the note choices really do sound Bondy, kinda.
