Slash is so effin awesome, he compliments every singer he plays with. He is such a true musician, you know he loves what he does, and it's never about the money. A lot of guitar players seem out for self glory, just because you can run up and down the fret board at lightening speed, doesn't make you the best, if your audience cant feel any thing, then what's the point. This song has it all - and what an awesome version this one is! I love how slash takes the song from a gentle melody at 2:50 then slowly builds before he tears your head off at 3:17 with a switch of pick-ups and a mind blowing finish to his solo. This is probably my favourite song Slash has written since his GNR departure. I Love the dynamic structure, the tones, mood, light n heavy, but I've never loved the vocal live on this song. I do like it on record but, I've always felt it needed a heavier vocalist.One who could call upon different tones and dimensions for this song. Also, more blues vocal feel... I'm hearing a Coverdale and Paul Rogers type vocal dynamic changes and tones. What I really wanna say is that I can sing this in the style I wanna hear it in and I AM going to do this tune!!!
