The full EP this is from doesn't fully release until November 3rd. I LOVE how they introduced this track, though. If you signed up to their website for updates and such, you got an email that took you to a website where you had to pre-save the song and then were given access to the website to "break" a mirror. A new mirror every day for 5 days, and the final mirror started playing the song through the streaming platform you had saved it on. This EP also includes the previous single, The Void.

I first heard of Spiritbox when their video for Holy Roller came out in the summer of 2020. I was immediately hooked and looked for any of their songs I could find. There are so many great ones. They really don't have a bad song. Anyway anytime there is new Spiritbox is a great day to me. I've actually listened to this like 50 times already but seeing your reaction was a lot of fun.

Spiritbox is literally, genuinely, the only band that has not a single song i dislike. They really don't disappoint, definitely. My favorite song by them is Mara Effect 1. I swear that song is a damn masterpiece. I'd love to hear it live one day but... eh, people like the most popular or newer songs. This band got me through the end of 2019 straight through lockdown. 🩶

They always know how to write a good metalcore song. Modern, original chords and riffs. Great singing and screaming, plus a tasteful balance between heavy and soft. Things not easy to do for many bands and they do it with ease. You can tell they were the kids in highschool who always knew the best bands. Glad to see they've become one of them. Such a beautiful song, I’ve been straight up obsessed with it since it released and I’m beyond hyped for their EP coming out in November! But I saw them back in May with After the Burial and Intervals and it was an amazing show. Definitely recommend seeing them live if you can.

I agree on the live part. I saw them open with Fit for an Autopsy for Killswitch Engage and Lamb of God last October. Spiritbox kind of stole the show for me. Opened with circle with me and the more hardcore crowd was like oh, this is chill. Then Hurt You and Holy Roller followed and completely threw everyone off lol
