I feel like Spiritbox is the clenched fist of a sensitive person who could probably beat the living crap out of you but their empathy prevents them from ever doing it. Because there is so much in your face rage in the screams and so much sensitivity in the cleans, but sometimes the screaming parts are dealing with the most sensitive lyrics and the cleans are dealing with the angriest or darkest lyrics. Like when people say The Void is a very vibey and upbeat song it's clear they're not paying any attention to the lyrics. Or this song feeling beautiful when it's so dark.

This is the first time I have to speak against you. Courtney never had a range. Which is why most of their songs sound similar. She's only doing what she feels comfortable with. I hate comparisons but Tetjana is using that range and variety you were talking about.
