I was the captain of the battleship that was infront of the long hook 32:16 ,we had just built and armed her earlier that day we then set out for the maiden voyage when we were asked to help with the invasion, we had to move infont of the longhook cuz of arty and the border behind us was fuckin us so we panicked abit but we got back into Position and lit that beach up. This was our first time using her in combat and was a blast to be there and help even if it was a cluster fuck, i wanna thank 35ci and legoman for all the help making and crewing the CNS HORB

Definitely one of the worst battles I’ve seen watching all of them getting slaughtered without even getting a kill. Dame Everything just went to shit, but what happens when you don’t have a line of communication between battleships and the landing infantry working incoordination. But it was GG great to watch though.

I get the first wave was a disaster... But what was the infantry in the next 'waves' trying to accomplish lmao. They were sending one ship at a time filled with infantry only to get slaughtered by collies who already reinforced the beach.

also as someone who has done good landings before forget the regular barges with medium tanks on the all the do it clog up the beach get like 6 landing craft ready 3 with devitts or hatchets and the other 3 with inf and just dog pile onto the beach to build a beach so you can get the blue fin and long hook on the beach for fast deployment instead, but i built the bb you had to kill fist and that place is horrible to land on as we can get defences so close as a collie and there is no space to get a bb down

The main issue is that contested beach landings simply cannot work in the current iteration of Foxhole naval. Because you have to also crew the massive ships, the defender will always have more people and reinforce faster too, on top of all the other defender advantages.

@@Sky_GuyI don’t think it’s meta, you can get pretty similar use out of a battleship as you can with land crews on a equivalent equipment (mortar, artillery) it doesn’t really take that much more crew aside from the landing craft drivers

In reference to Bear suggesting the battleship should work with the landing boat, someone said: "They are currently trying to snipe the stolen STD, so they are doing their job" Excuse me sir(the guy who said the above, NOT Bear, Bear is correct), no they aren't. The job of a battleship in this situation is to support the landing. When you are landing infantry on a beach full of enemy infantry, the primary job of that battleship needs to be clearing the beach so that friendly infantry can establish a foothold and you can get tanks onto the beach. As of this statement(29:15) you are in no position to be sniping an STD

It’s a shame that people aren’t using the actual landing craft to carry tanks. Maybe the larger transport ship with a ramp should be able to carry bigger tanks? So it could land on the beach to deploy heavier tanks which should help

Guys, I'm a noob in foxhole, I've been playing recently. Can you explain the next point to me? On the ABLE server, the colonials are in the lead and in terms of losses, the warden exceed the losses of the colonists by 50-100k because they lose. On the CHARLIE server, the colonials are losing and they have 30k fewer losses than the warden. I.E. usually the attacking side always has more losses and the defending side has less, but on both servers the colonials have fewer losses - what is the point? ) The warden are played by noobs or just more reckless dudes than colonials? ))

Wardens have higher losses in every war, even the ones they win. Its just how it is.

You just give dirty collies lot of tanks. These landing things were better in older version even tvey not worked well even then. Foxhole should consentrate to make basic thing working like logistics and badic guns witch still suck and are not get much attention. New "fancy" things just make game more broken.
