Quite a lot of metal lyrics even though it's hard to listen to at first there are some very meaningful songs. Another band u could check out is jinjer and the song Pisces, teacher teacher and perennial at wacken. Then deeper into the heavier stuff like lorna shore - to the hellfire and related songs with the ep bloody wood - start a riot. Happy listening. Also funny reaction :)
@Z_TPI2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for dipping your toes into the "metal deep end". The mid 90s-00's stereotype of all metal being devil music was pushed hard by the media. Majority of metal lyrics are/about hardship, motivational, expressing/overcoming sadness/anger/rage/hearbreak, and in some sub genres you get fantasy and/or Sci-Fi themed lyrics. My favourite band Unleash The Archers released 2 concept albums(Apex in 2017 and Abyss in 2020) that tell a single 20 chapter story track by track over both albums, 10 chapter per album. The first album is fantasy based about The Immortal being awakened after a 1000 year sleep in his mountain hollow, (protagonist) and by a Covenant of birth(a curse) he must do the bidding of whomever summons him, which is The Matriarch (antagonist). She demands the Immortal to find her four sons, bring them back to her alive, so she can kill them in a blood ritual to gain immortality for herself. On the second album, the setting moves to Sci-Fi space based, and the immortal decides to break free of the covenant, and is being chased through space by The Matriarch. The story comes to it's climax with a planet destroying battle between the 2 of them. If this interests you, I highly recommend reacting to Unleash The Archers and their song Awakening (full band playthrough) which is chapter 1 in the storyline, and sung from the immortals perspective. To give you a clue to what it sounds like, think of a ride into battle theme song, or like a final boss metal track. 🤘🇨🇦

@@TooBlunt Yeah it happens a lot unfortunatly, Metal is way more than people think, when most people (who don't actually listen to that) think about "Metal" they think about the most brutals of genres but that's a very small part of it, yeah there are some bands that scream like crazy and it can seem like "animals making music" if you're not paying too much attention but you did and you noticed that it's wrong, even with such a brutal one. But there are many other subgenres that don't sound like this at all. There are even bands that mix Metal with Rap, did you know Ice T has a Metal band? You should check it out, it's called Body Bag. My advice would be No lives matter or All love is lost. Then for some diversity, got some more suggestions. Do w/e you want with these, but you might be surprised : Nightwish - Storytime (official live video) Ad Infinitum - I am the storm Blind Guardian - Sacred worlds Avenged Sevenfold - Save me Genuflect - Riot on the set Motionless In White - /c0de Falling in Reverse - Losing my life (live @ Warped tour 2018)

Here's a list of suggestions starting towards the beginning: Black Sabbath - basically anything from the first 3 albums, pick a popular track Metallica - One or anything from Master of Puppets or Ride the Lightning. Slipknot - pick a popular track from the first couple of albums Lamb of God - really any popular track This will give you a basic foundation to venture back into the deep end. Lorna Shore - into the hellfire is a popular song to react to that's well in the deep end. ✌
