Alex had eye surgery a little while back, so that probably gave him the idea for the contact. I was hoping they would drop Behelit, which is my favorite of the new songs they've been playing live. This is good though and it's grown on me with every listen.

FYI there was a mix up with the release of this song. Alex released the video early on his own channel against the will of the record label due to a dispute. However they cleared things up and they're all good now but thats why the video came out so much earlier than it was available on Spotify.

the start of the song is real similar to DIG by Mudvayne and this video is the exact same video for DIG.

*Well, if the video for "DIG" would have been the whole time with white background, then it would be the exact same video, but it is not. In that "DIG" video are enough sequences that are playing before dark background. So, it is not the same video.....* 🎵🎸📺🤔🧐

The “controversy” was all about the ending where he is screaming solo. People are (still) arguing that he is using effects and manipulating his voice because they think it’s just not possible to sound like that. Alex released a video on Instagram explaining that he did 2 takes (one higher, one lower) and used some effect like reverb or something, as everyone does.

As a listener of heavy since the 80s. Went through it all and few remains. Napalm Death, Carcass, Iron Maiden, King Diamond etc...Id have to say, this is up there. Raw energy. I dont need to know the lyrics to get the message. The older you get, the more references you hear. What sounded like SOD to you , sounded like Led Zeppelin to me 🙂

I may be commenting on the wrong video. Ive been watching a bunch N+J tonight. You mentioned having to do the show by yourself Johnny and how different it is... I feel the same way when I try to do my own radio show solo. I used to have a co-host, and it just feels so much better to have a mate to bounce ideas and banter off of. Doing the show solo after having that great back and forth was a nightmare for me.
