This song was absolutely an homage to Dig by Mudvayne, and I love it. Also, There's no way it's a coincidence that this song is abbreviated "KoD" and Alex wounds up doing some of the filthiest CoD zombie-sounding growls I've ever heard at the end. lol

This reminds me of Dig by Mudvayne in a lot of ways. The white room, the riffy lead guitar, the unhinged, start stop vocals; it’s really cool. STP works for me because they feel like that blend of Iowa era Slipknot and early 2000s metalcore mixed with angry Russian deathcore. It doesn’t deviate a ton, and they wear their influences proudly, but I really love them and can’t wait to hear more.

It's what Alex is known for at this point especially after Viking. There's a point where it becomes cringe imo. This breakdown didn't reach that for me, however conflicts breakdown definitely did though, whenever I hear that breakdown I cringe a little.

Yeah, this is so different , bits of melodic riffs with the heavy chonk drum patterns changing constantly but still keeping up bpms expected from slaughter.
