Dissolution of the USSR was the most dangerous geopolitical event of 20th century. World Wars are nothing compared to what this can bring. If the American influence leads the world into a unipolar state, we are head to head with absolutistic intergovernmental dictatorship which is going to haunt us for many, many centuries. And for those who take this as a hyperbole should consider that we are talking about the top priority of American external policy - a unipolar world. The rise of terrorism, resistance to the dictatorship and general social unrest may culminate in a wide specter of situations of which the worst include human extinction. And from east global dictatorship also can come. Either the conflict of influences between China, Russia and the United States is going to stop or World War lll is an element of immiment future.

Communism was a western invention, thus it has the positive outlook that Russia has never been famous for possessing. Russia is a land of tragedy and hardship, and so when it had to give a positive message it was always a stoic call to arms rather than dreaming of victory. Even in this positivist song, it’s still got the Russian spirit embedded in it, albeit smothered with the Communist Sensationalism. This song would not sound the same produced by any other nation, and I find that interesting.

No, Russians are just realists and extremely sincere. If we are sad or just in a neutral mood, we will not put on a positive mask. If you were taught from childhood to smile and be extremely positive even when you feel bad, this does not mean that the opposite is a manifestation of anger or savagery. You see that a Russian is smiling - he is happy, and if there is no smile, then he can just think about something, reflect. There is nothing tragic or sad in this song. It became so only with the collapse of the USSR, when such idealistic dreams collided with the need to obtain financial benefits from space. While shuttles were created to earn money from launches, the USSR could launch satellites and stations simply because they wanted to discover space. The USA had only one space station - Skylab, assembled from the remains of the canceled Apollo missions, and badly damaged during launch, and the USSR had 8 different stations. By the way, the *first woman in outer space,* who performed the world's first welding in outer space, was on station 7.
@luigimrlgaming948423 күн бұрын
@@penka7855 My point was how this was specifically a soviet attitude, you don’t even see the propaganda of the Russian Empire or Federation being of smiles or hope in the same way. We only see that it is the land of Russia, everyone must fight together to survive and the joy of simply living peacefully is far more important than any great achievements one may make. That is the message of Modern Russia, beyond the nationalist fervor of standing up to the western hegemony in our current time, it’s what Russia really wants at this point which is quite humble in comparison. I grew up in American culture, everyone smiles all the time, but I did not because it hurt to do so and I saw no problems with a neutral expression. Maybe this is why I admire the Russian mentality far more than the American one, I see myself in it.

The communists always had the best ideas but the worse real life. The ideas soviets put in their own anthem and in their music was always the perfect utopian society where everyone is a family working together for greater good for everybody.

@@Unwoken_European bruh, ex-jugo shitlibs are the worst. Also if communism had the worst "real Life" then why did we achieve so much with it? Why were we literaly better than the West according to the world bank, IMF and CIA?

How was communism supposed to survive when capitalist America devoted all of its resources and practically the entire country to destruction of socialism worldwide for half a century? Censored socialist ideas, violently surpressed socialist movements in emerging-socialist countries, heavily financed everybody who was fighting against communism... Gave 0 space for them. And if it was the communists who started first, it would be slightly understandable at least. But Soviets defeated the biggest threat to humanity in history of mankind, had 27 milion people lost, economy in ruins, Chinese also bitterly fought the Japanese... And Americans, to say a thanks, devoted everything they have to destroying both countries. For real, what a peaceful country. Not to say it, in the meanwhile, invaded a dozen other innocent countries for standing in the way of their imperialist policies... Continues to do so.
