@@thesaucylorax It's called the pre-explosion buildup trope. And this is Star Wars, there's not a lot of emphasis on realism. Previous episode had a little green alien with telekinesis after all. If you need to anchor the seismic charge effect in realism, you can always handwave it with the implosion happening before the explosion, or something something antiphase, or maybe the pre-explosion explosion sends out a frequency that temporarily overwhelms your sense of hearing, or maybe it's because of midichlorians - who cares.

I think people hate the prequels not because of the the sorry or lore itself......but the EXECUTION of it. Like people think it could've been produced better, better dialogue, go in more detail on some things. Still good movies though. The new movies by Disney have some problems though to say the least. Many think Disneys movies shouldn't even exist, that they should've done something completely different. Whereas I think most people agree the prequels were a great idea, deserve to exist.....but could've been made a little bit better.

if kathleen kennedy would have had her hands on the mandalorian show, she probably wouldn't have allowed the seismic charge, because a male character doing something cool is TOXTHIC MATHCULINITY

@@nofanealbni kathleen kennedy's identity politics obsession and insulting of the fans in behind the scenes decisions is well documented. if you don't know this, its ok, but look into it. plus it's also kind of infuriating that toxic masculinity is never aimed at minorities or lgbt people, its always only aimed at straight white men and things that they like. it's a ploy to politically polarize people though, so don't fall for it. don't treat those people like shit just because of how radical left wing politics is a truly awful force in the world. the right wing wants to kill american culture by killing minority groups. the left wing is trying to kill american culture by "safe space-ing" everything to it's end. both are full of shit. both parties are full of shit half the time, but the other half the time they're right. to hardline with one or the other is a mistake

The sound design of this chase between Jango and Kenobi in the attack of the clones was really mind blowing in the theaters, lasers were going off everywhere and seismic charges were rumbling the seat, it was a special experience and Lucas knew it by not putting soundtrack in this scene, it is one of the few parts of the star wars movies (pre Disney) without soundtrack.
