@MegaDDsmith : If you take the time to read the information that was produced by jewish writer for jewish ppl, during a time period when slavery was accepted as standard normal practice, it will completely de-bunk the "new revamped history" writings of 20th century authors. Numerous pre 20th century jewish authors had no problem spelling out how jews played a major role in slavery.

The speaker leaves out the 1804 Haiti Massacre which loomed large in how neighboring countries treated Haiti and also was a significant factor in extending slavery in the US. This incident may have been necessary for the Haitians to secure their freedom but it also took away their moral high ground. it also was part of the reason reparations were demanded by France as 3,000 to 5,000 men, women and children were killed in this incident.

@MegaDDsmith (Written by jews for jews) in a publication titled; "New World Jewry". 1493-1825: Requiem for the Forgotten. The author Seymour B. Liebman (American jewish historical society) wrote; They (the jews) were the largest ship chandlers in the entire caribbean region, where the shipping business was mainly a jewish enterprise. The ships were not only owned by jews, but were manned by jewish crews & sailed under command of jewish captains.

@MegaDDsmith The center of the American slave trade was located in Newport R.I. Aka: home of the largest thriving jewish community in the new world, & had the oldest synagogue in America (The Touro Synagogue). Issac DaCosta(jew), David Franks(jew), Aaron Lopez(jew), dominated the American slave trade. Slave trading was so jewish in all the americas, that it closed on jewish holidays. Jews were at this game for many centuries B4 the North Atlantic Slave Trade or the new world even began.

@MegaDDsmith : We'll try this again, Ok?: Remeber u used "Jacob Marcus" as your defense against the dominant roll jews played in slavery? Well, in the book titled "United States Jewry 1776-1985", page 586 Jacob Marcus wrote; "All through the 18th century, into the 19th century, Jews on the north were to own black servants. In 1820 over 75% of all jew families in Charleston, Richmond & Savannah owned slaves. Almost 40% of all jew households in the US owned 1 slave or more. Tip: 40%= 2 out of 5)

@DonTerhune1200cc How many jews were in the US at the time compared to Christians? Jason H. Silverman said that in the south Jews only accounted for 1.25% slave owners in the south. How is it possible that 1.25% dominate 98.75% of the other slave owners.

@geemolly74 True African history is obscure. But this summit barely talked about the Caribbean. I studied Caribbean history for 7 years and I am from the Caribbean. All the schools in the Commonwealth Caribbean which is a majority of the nations in the Caribbean, teach Caribbean history and so this is not an educational gift.

@DonTerhune1200cc not true at all, you have mentioned three Jews and you are purporting a view that implies that their trade greater than the hundreds if not thousands of Anglican and Catholic slave traders! And as for the other slavery, it is common knowledge that in slavery in the other parts of Africa and the Middle East was carried out by Muslims. I am not saying that some Jews did not have involvement with it but it was minimal. The oldest synogogue is in the US. VI by the way

@DonTerhune1200cc What's funny is your absolute hatred for Jews, and refusal to acknowledge that it was the Christians that dominated the slave trades. This fact is indisputable. You should read id Jews “Dominate” the African Slave Trade? Dov Chronicles. Notice all the slave owner names I called were Christian mostly anglican

@DonTerhune1200cc The dispute is not whether or not Jews owned slaves. You basically purport the Jews dominated slavery. There is no logic in this assertion.
