Johnny this was the very first song I heard of yours. Your music helped me bring my son out of a very dark place. He still calls me when he's had....well one of those days, he plays the guitar and we sing ur songs together. This was the first one I learned, and when its real bad, this is the song he sings. Thank you Johnny.

@@laurenc9458 yeah good singer or not you have to be accountable. A band functions as a unit. If the lead singer is absent right in the middle of a tour bc he's on a mission...not okay. Jonny Craig is amazing and he's amazing for acknowledging his addiction but He can't keep punishing his bands for his issues by getting into it without being clearheaded. On that note I think he is amazing and I've met him in person he's a chill guy. Very Beautiful. Sorry to rant.

I hope you can get to a place where you're doing better. I promise it's possible. It's a shitload of hard work, but a better life is achievable. And I say that as someone who was a junkie for years. But now I'm in a place where I'm doing far better, and ironically, I took that skill I learned from such a dark place in my life, and turned it into a career. Spent years sticking needles in veins and I got really good at it, and now I do it for a living, drawing blood at a hospital to help patients get better. Personally, i think it's awesome that I've been able to take a thing like that and use it for something good, and there's a certain beauty about being able to use something that was part of my addiction originally to help heal people now. Anyway, point is, it can get better if you work at it. i can't promise life will always be easy,. but I can at least promise that after a while, the addiction bit gets easier, and you think about it less and less, and it slowly loses it's grip over your life until it doesn't own you anymore. Anyway, just wanted to say that. Oh, and if you're looking for another band that has a ton of great music (I happen to find them incredibly relatable and cathartic anyway), check out Citizen Soldier. They help me every fucking day

I hope they do a "non-acoustic" version of this at some point.

This looks and sounds like it's a studio track with a music video made to look like an acoustic version.

Such a beautiful song, and amazing artist. But hopefully whatever he's going through, whatever stories that may be true about him, that he will heal from it.

@@jaye2491 I don't like the singing on the newest songs. I wish I did. I know everyone used to complain about "he just does the same run" stuff, but I just found it a lot more exciting. This makes him sound a little more like every other vocalist out there. Obviously he's still Jonny and it's great, but I'm curious if I'm the only one. I want vocals like 3:03 and beyond for an entire acoustic song with Jonny on it haha.

dtack777 Plenty of that on the latest record? They are making this small EP for acoustic or softer stuff.

I swear the older this man gets the more beautiful he gets all the way around! He really understands how to captivate and enchant. Its that music that just speaks to every part of you and runs through every part of you. Especially the fun parts...😋..dude you are just...killin..it....fuckin...killin.it.... damn.
