It is a good video, but I would like to say two things: 1) The Real is not just a noumenon. Yeah, it is beyond symbolic and imaginary orders, but it doesn't works as a trascendent element that makes things what they are, it is not a "essence". Zizek, in his book "The sublime object of ideology" explains it through the debate between Kant and Hegel, and we should remember that Lacan is a hegelian philosopher. In addition to this, we should remember that Lacan takes that concept from Alexandre Koyre's works, so what it is in the Real it is not symbolic, it is written. That's why Lacan talks about the Real as what can be formalized. 2) The imaginary register is not just something that we should escape from. There is no such thing as "that beyond the illusion" because we are able to aproach things through that illusion. In the XX Seminar, Lacan said that that little piece of reality we are capable to obtain, is what lays in the fantasy (phanom). This is why even when we try to obtain what is reality through reason, we are using fantasies too. That's why, in a certain way, there is no sexual relation. It is distorted by images and language.
