How do you hotkey to your scout and then random troops you send to battle. I can’t find the setting for those

@@frequensea9434 you select the units you want to hotkey. Press Ctrl+1. Now when you press 1 it will select those units. Same for 2-9. If you press ctrl-1 again it will assign the currently selected units to group 1 and forget the old ones. Iirc if you select other units and press Ctrl+shift+1 it will add these other units to the group.

@@frequensea9434 mark a unit or units and press ctrl+any number. That number picks the selected. Double click the nr camera moves as I remember

Douching is where you scout the other player, delete your starting TC, and then build your TC within range of theirs. It isn't an easy thing to deal with for most players.

often people will go persians for high tc hp and then douche the enemy with the goal of destroying their tc and vill fighting them in dark age

@@TrueLadyEvilChan not really. Don't panic and quickly evaluate if you want to fight the TC war or if you are just going to give up/ move your TC. Make sure you keep villagers on wood and your wood line safe. Remember that a TC gets full arrows at 10 vills. And since you are evil, be the doucher ;)

Spearman wasn't buffed gambeson applies to militia line only. Pike upgrade just got 55 food cheaper that's not what decided this fight. The boyar buff had way more impact here.

@@jeroen92 that's literally a buff though, regardless of how small it is. A decrease in food and research time means that more food can be spent on extra pike or blacksmith upgrade
