He’s only good if he can get to his first read or if he can extend the play. He can’t win with his arm, or he’s showing us that he’s not that trustworthy. Look at his tape since he’s been here. Did you watch the Film? You can't blame any offensive coordinator for last week There were guys open all over the field and Hurts is not making the correct reads. If anyone is to blame it's our year 5 QB still leaving the Pocket Early and not reading the Field. 3 and Short should be a 1 read play and he bails out every time. This has NOTHING to do with our coordinators

I agree. Hurts is still getting the benefit of the doubt as if he is a rookie or in his second year. While yes he can make a play using his legs his actual qb play is subpar especially when they’re throwing the blitz at him. They knew this was going to be the game plan against hurts after last season when he fell apart after getting too much pressure and they were supposed to be fixing it all offseason. Instead he looks just as panicked as last year. Smh. Personally I think the birds need to start looking for his replacement sooner rather than later. Which kinda sucks because two years ago I thought he was going to be the guy.
