Reddick's first season with the Eagles they did the same thing and forced him to drop into coverage, despite his history as a pass rusher. He looked totally ineffective and everybody was talking about how terrible he was. Then they finally came to their senses about halfway thru that season and let him do what he does and pressure the QB. Suddenly, he was the most impactful player on the line and one of the top in the league. They're making the same ridiculous mistake with Huff. Except now it's even worse, because there's less other strong pass rushers on the line to compensate for Huff's ineffectiveness than there has been the past few years (if not close to a decade). Keeping Sirianni when the players clearly didn't respect him and have refused to buy into his (and Fangio's) system has cost the Eagles another season with the inevitable rebuild under a new coach still to come. And there's zero chance Reddick is coming back. That's a pipe dream that isn't going to happen.

Fangios scheme has never worked in Philadelphia for starters. I think Slay shouldn’t be starting anymore, see what Rodgers and Mitchell could do on the outside and DeJean on the inside. hurts is a buddy ball qb. if aj is out, rest hurts- we are gonna get smoked anyways- tanner will spread it around, and Say-quad and Dallas are the keys to offensive success. play a 5 man front on d and defeat their run attack. blitz on 3rd and six or longer. Score tds in the red zone- no more stalled drives- continue to do what you did to get there. If Tanner, Say-Quad, and Dallas are eating in the first half, add in Datzun, Smitty, Crash, the NewGiant, and Ainalate and open the field. If it is close in the fourth, everything Say-Quad all the time. Learn things this game, take the L but learn.

Hate the scheme all you want it has performed this year. Held an explosive GB offense to 29 points when our offense had 3 turnovers 2 of which had them in scoring position immediately. Held Atlanta to 15 if saquan catches the ball. All of that while noone on defense is paid "elite" player money. The Eagles coaching is just like last year, weak. It is no excuse for that offence to look like that because one player is hurt, and I don't think Dallas Goddert is coming back next season because the eagles don't include him in the offence. The eagles trade for a WR and don't use him. The saints will score over 40 because the eagles will do the same thing. When a team has a weak pass rush, your offence has to keep the ball longer drives, so the other team's offence stays on the side line.

They need to start listening to you guys when y’all speak about these things man it is so frustrating and I see that all the time with Jalen hurts instead of chucking it down they want to make this 50 yard play and it never works. He’s always thrown the interception trying to force it. Like on that last play against the Falcons, he could’ve just threw it to Barkley and then Barkley could’ve did the rest or just try to get into field goal range but he just wants to throw the ball

Nolan smith is our only rusher (that plays) that can also cover. He’s also been the most consistent against the run. I want to see what jalyx hunt has. If nothing else, he can cover. Baun and White need to be on the field. Both can play all over. White can blitz better than most linebackers. I agree it’s a huge waste. We need pressure. This defense reminds me of the Super Bowl from Gannon.

Hey Joey, hope all is well bro... I think we're going to see who's truly running this team!!! Fangio said during camp that he plays the best players... If Howie's draft picks continue to start and play then he's running the team not Fangio/Siriani or Moore!!! There's even been Dallas fans that have said "not all of those plays are Kellen Moore's", and it's obvious AF which one's are which!! Moore's plays look new and fresh and we gain yards but some of the other plays look exactly like last season and we don't do well with those plays!!!

I have been waiting for Hurts to spread the ball around for a while now. That would be a real evolution in his game and would unlock a far more dominant version of the offense. At this point i guess he is who he is. The team could have spent more money on the defense and less on receivers. Lets roll with Hurts being a great runner sometimes passer, a great running back and just play bully ball on both sides.

@ryancampbell1847 Jalen's playing at least as well as Mahomes. Mahomes has three picks as well. Jalen would be 2-0 as well, but for a dropped pass. Eagles fans' brains are scrambled when it comes to evaluating their own players. Statistically Hurts has actually played better than Mahomes and most of the elite QBs in the league so far this season. Numbers don't lie. The only difference is he happens to play for the most toxic fanbase in the NFL. Eagles fan literally cannot help themselves.
