Sozu was changed. It now prevents new potions from being obtained, does not prevent their use.

NL, prepared while not being as good as you think, is still a good card if you have a discard deck or curses, so don't forget about it!

Nathan Jacobs nah mate. You need to be really deep in discard meta or covered in curses to make picking up that much Deadwood worth it. It costs an upgrade as well, to not be completely useless. It's a n00btrap, nothing more. Well over 99% of the time it's played it would be better to simply not have it in your deck.

Built a very similar deck to NL's. I didn't get the opportunity to add extra Infinite Blades though, I chose to let Dead Branch rot because I didn't want to clutter my hand and deck with random cards. If I remember correctly I picked up a Ninja Scroll along the way which made my opening hand a little weak once I picked up Bag of Preparation and would have rather have been drawing 3 powers in those slots. I cannot remember if that weak start caused me to lose to the Time Lord or not.

Let's Play: NL Overrates Accuracy, Underrates After Image The 3 cost bullet time to save 2 energy of cards and making Malaise worse was the best part of the episode. I had 4 Backstabs and 2 After Images by the end of this run and it was great especially when Dead Branch showed up 3 stops before the end.

Prepared is still great, even though it takes up a spot in your hand it gives you a free draw and a ability to discard a card in your hand (for example curse that would make you lose hp or make you weak). It’s always helpful to have from one to two in your deck, it will save you sometimes. I want to please eggdaddy 🥚🥚🥚

I wouldn’t call it great, I’d say it still has a unique purpose of discarding for 0, but NL doesn’t use that strat often.

It's not free draw, it's expensive cycle. You're essentially drawing four cards to draw the fifth than discard one. Think if it with playing cards. You draw a 2,3,4,5,6 of spades. Good, you really needed that four. Next turn you draw 2,3,5,6 and prepared. You really needed that four. You play prepared and draw the four. Now your hand is 2,3,4,5,6 (same as without prepared) only now you have to discard. You toss the three, and simply because you can't read and don't understand the cards, your hand is one card smaller at 2,4,5,6... with no gain at all. There's a reason it's a n00btrap.

Ovidiu Damian It is great in any defensive deck or poison deck. Shiv decks tend to want to burst the enemy quickly which noxious fumes can slow down. It's an amazing card but didn't fit the theme at the time.

soleil it works great with slow my boy, if it's upgraded the damage scales fairly quickly and provides excellent swarm control. Works especially well if you have a poisoned stab or some way of stacking the poison besides it.
