Yeah, he also thought that playing the intangible effect carries over until you get damaged so he played a turn after the big attack, not mattering because he had enough block, but since he was so lionBlind he thought it was because of the card, cementing his idea. So now he has no idea what buffer does because in his mind intangible is the same but also different. What I'm saying is that the egg has lost all control over his existence

He does this with madness all the time and it drives me insane. He also will use a un-upgraded (1 energy rather than 0) madness when his entire hand is 1 energy cards, which there's no point because then he is just forced to use whichever card was hit by madness when its not even saving him energy

I don’t mind that as much because it makes the card permanently 0 and it means he doesn’t draw Madness again. The number of times he doesn’t play garbage like Purity from Toolbox draws and draws it again later is what gets me good.

Hey NL love your content! Just so you know Hexaghost's opening attack is based on your current HP - so if you go into the fight full he will hit like 7x6 but if you go in with say 20 HP it scales down 3x6 (example). But be aware his second cycle into his fully ignited attack does the full 7x6 :D

With "Buffer" you take 0 dmg if you would get hit but it still takes dmg from your shield. So if a mob hits you 3 times for 12 dmg and you have 6 shield up, you take 0 dmg for the first attack but you also lose 6 shield and end up taking the rest of the 24 dmg.

It stops the first instance of damage not all damage in a turn. The moment you take even 1 dmg from any source buffer goes away. (i.e. Blue Candle's 1dmg ping will remove buffer *cough cough*)

I feel like taking a lot of curses even on a cursed daily as the defect does not really help. I mean most of his power comes from the orbs and strength does not affect them. Don't get me wrong he does have cards that deal straight up damage but 99% of the time you will have a deck revolving around the orbs.

NL you need to start thinking about your deck based on what you already have and whether or not it fits with what you are going to take. you get hyperbeam on a transformation which is a good card but it's one negative is that you lose focus. your very next card you could have chosen FTL to draw into that hyperbeam more often and begin a synergy, but you chose static shock which is negatively affected by hyperbeam which will make it more difficult to play.

A lot of times I really don't see the value in having more orb slots. In lightning and dark decks I think you want to generally churn through your orbs reliably, and you can't always do that with a million slots.

Wraith95 first off very cool screen name lol. I do agree at first I was an orb hoarder then I realized you could get more of them lol. Most the time my play style tries to use as many orbs as possible. The defects character seems to be lite on damage to me so I try and use the orbs to passively add to it. My main 2 deck builds (if its possible) is lighting and dark frost is just not very useful and plasma is nice to have but isn't as useful as the first 2 i.m.o. I will add I am definitely not a top tier player. Most of my daily's I end up with an average of 1k points and my off line play hasn't gotten above ascension 5 so I'm probably not the best person to look to for playing tips lol.

Please stop taking static discharge. You want to avoid taking damage. Yeah I get it, it's nice to get something when you do get hit, but it's not a card you build around. Try frost decks, it's beyond the easiest way to win. Coolheaded, defrag, blizzard. It's consistent, which is what this character lacks. It's not the only way to win of course, but it's a consistent way when you get it together.

Fluicor Maybe, but if I punched you in the face for 100 bucks every punch, you'll die eventually. Buffer will save you once or twice each fight, but it's straight up not a good card compared to other strategies.

thats why you add blocks and do some basic maths each turn to ensure static procs.TBH I made the first comment before watching NL's run,but I had a run very similar to his,and after the second/third turn any hit I would take would mean nearly 90 damage across the board,and the boss was also the awakened one. Maybe is not that "consistent" as other strategies,but saying is bad or you cant build around it is plain wrong.
