It does. I was taught this in the sixties. The highest point should be over your pupil as you stare forward. Outer dot is pencil laid from nose to outer corner of the eye. Inner dot is along side the nose to the corner of the eye. Fit your face,any size face perfectly

I tried it and wow. The difference is subtle, but in brows, any subtle difference can be amazing. My fronts look more natural, my symmetry is better, the front positoon is closer and prettier, and the tails are longer. And all much quicker than when I eyeball it. One of the nest beauty videos I have seen this year.

This has been around for decades. It's the 3 point brown. Unfortunately since she doesn't know how to do it, or where/why the points are, others might look off.. Especially if they just guess about where the "dots" go. Just get your pencil, start at the inner corner out. Second dot, stare forward and line your pupil out. That's your arch... The last dot, repeat step one, that's the end of your brow. Don't just pick a spot for the end, or arch like she did. The arch aligns with the pupil.

Ok, quick tutorial on how to draw an eyebrow from an artist 😂 the first two dots are supposed to be in a line straight up from the end of your nostril. The second one goes from the same point but through the middle of your eye and the last one goes through the outer corner of your eye. Hope you understand what I tried (and failed) to explain 😅

But if you feel like something looks better on you, or you have a naturally defined arch, I see no problem with having it somewhere else. What I explained are just general rules that help to learn drawing eyebrows.

I agree to a point. But the hair on my brows and head used to be long, full, thick and healthy and my brows were all but naturally shaped. I recently turned 61, yet in my mid 40s, all hair began to recede; so it's good to have alternatives, if/when nature takes its course, and you're left with thinned out, shorter and challenging hair on the brows or head.

Lay eyebrow pencil along side of your nose up past your inner corner of eye is and dot where pencil lays. This is where eyebrow should start. Look straight and lay the pencil from corner or your nose up across your pupil of your eye then dot where the pencil lays. That is where the arch should be. Then take pencil from corner of nose to corner of outer eye and dot where the pencil lays. That is where your eyebrow stops. Hope that makes since.

That’s not where your eyebrows should start unless you want your nose to appear wider. If you want your nose to appear narrower start them closer together. I recommend looking at makeup artist Rae Morris’s tips on how to shape eyebrows for different effects or the KZbin channel of StyleMeJenn.

I lost my brows because I have hypothyroidism even with hyperthyroidism eyebrows can be completely lost so I got Microblading, microblading helps the eyebrows to grow back, and for some reason. But I don’t know how to train them to sit down because they kind of stick out when they first grow back in, so this video is a lifesaver I used to try to draw them and I’m a terrible artist and one time when I went to the mall and it was hot. I was walking around the mall for hours, and when I went to the bathroom, I realized that one of my eyebrows had melted off. I was mortified. This video has changed my life, and I am forever grateful

I also have Hypothyroidism (I have it so severely that I’ve developed Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis too) so the tails of both my eyebrows are gone. 👩‍🦲I’d love to get microblading but I can’t afford it unfortunately. Even the texture of the hair on my head is so much different than it used to be from before it was when my thyroid was healthy. So much of my hair has fallen out and it’s fizzy, dull, and there’s no luster and body in my hair at all anymore. It’s crazy how much it’s actually affected my hair!

I've literally had this on repeat for over an hour and I'm not going to stop until I get it right, and I will probably have it on every day in perpetuity because I'm ADDAF especially when it comes to art!!! For me it helps if I raise my eyebrows to connect the dots with straight lines--legit? Inevitably, as a seriously challenged eyebrow girl, I need to erase because I haven't figured out the most flattering shape, BUT! I finally found my BROW BONE and here's how I did it: find your eye socket, and basically draw around the edge of it. I always thought the brow should be straight edges but this technique exemplifies how it's all really a curved edge. PLEASE POST MORE VIDEOS

Lay your pencil against your nostril straight up your forehead. That's your first set. Keep one end against your nostril and looking straight into the mirror line the pencil up with the outer line of the colored part of your eye, that's the center of your arch. Lastly, keep the end against your nostril and line up with the outer edge of your eyelid, that's the outer tip of your eyebrow. Now, keep in mind this is the guide for drawing perfectly aligned face symmetry. Some of us have narrow eyes or big nostrils, or we want to have higher arches, so adjust from there. I realize this is an older video but if you guys want to know how to figure out if your eyes are closer together or small or large and what to do from there I'll be happy to tell you, but I want to preface it by saying that what is "perfect" for art symmetry or makeup is largely defined by white facial features. Your specific face needing a tweak to make a hack work BY NO DEFINITION means you're ugly. None of us are drawing perfect and white isn't perfect. But you are. You are perfectly, beautifully, flawlessly YOU, and no one can do you better than you! ❤
