I love seeing these early hardcore metal vids and seeing the evolution of the crowds. 1984 no pit for Slayer. But hardcore punk shows had crazy pits going at this time. I saw Metallica in 1985 and there was a pit complete with mohawks and spiky hair. I saw Slayer in 1986 and, yes, there was a pit. Cheers.
