But he was aga or better player than Kerry. Way more talent. All the Satanic lyrics made people ask or assume they were Devil Worshipers. When asked once, Tom said, "You don't assume horror movie makers are psycho killers do you? Same applies here. But it was a valid question if you ask me. Some bands are absolutely into that shit. Never hears of an ax murdering movie producer. Norwegian Black Metal is full of em. Watain comes to mind. They are legit. Even sound good, but I feel like I need a shower after 1 song, so don't listen much.

Krimson Vale venom is more first wave black metal like with Hell hammer and other r ands because they have a similar sound, Bathory defined a particular sound but they’re both pure black metal, in my opinion this is all subjective when it comes to origins, this has been up for debate for years but it’s always fun to talk to others where they think where and when what genre came from

Yes life was very different 80's best time's of my life if you were young back then you should consider yourself fortunate. Look at the youts of today. I can som it up in one word. Ssshhiiet.. If you weren't a metal head back in the 80's you missed out. IT was pretty spectacular. Best times of my life.Sept I'm still a metal head at the age of 53. I'M listening to Exodus right now in fact . Whoever recorded this back in the day, if they still have the master tapes, they should scan it in the highest resolution possible and sell it. I'd buy a copy as I had VHS tape version back in the 90's that was probably already copied over and over again.

I was at this legendary show as a 16-year-old thrashhead from NYC down in front of the stage entwined in all its brutality. The Venom clip isn't from that show though. Mantas wasn't playing guitar from what I remember.

+SLAY TANIC I believe that Jeff was a very good artists in his right. Often wondered if it was speed of technical effort. Or the use in the way he presented his art. I saw him play a few times one or two demonstrations.

Hollywood... to primer my next comment, I just watched this video and remember my listening progression into their music.... it grabs you quickly.... but then you just marvel at the depth of it.... masterful is the word that comes to mind... I did the "disco thing" back in the 70s, had a Blast! I even won some dance contest, I had Travolta's SNF solo dance down pat, 1984 came around got into the "hair metal" scene Crue, Ratt, Skid Row, Kix and yes the Thrash metal as well, had a Blast with era Still having a Blast with 80s metal whatever the Fk you want to call it, I Still dig the dance/ disco scene n can Still bust out a move! Damn proud of the fun I had/ have with ALL genres, Keep pumping ur fist in the air and dancin whatever ur Fkn mood is

God I remember how metal shows used to be in the 80's. Just absolutely going apeshit. Great days
