I was 19 years old when I was at this show. I swear the ground was literally shaking! Slayer were a force of nature. Paul Bostaph's first show, I believe? He was unbelievable.

Yep - there was a phrase that I'd heard used about old acid rock bands like Blue Cheer , that they "turned the air to cheese". Well when slayer kicked off that day that's what happened, the air seemed to go thick and time slowed down. Just awesome, a real rush. Just a great atmosphere in the pit that day, last day I experienced it, blokes who picked you up if you went down and knew what they were doing. Thanks to the poster and well done for mixing the radio broadcast to the video.

Hell Awaits, truly one of their best songs. Hell Awaits was my first album I bought from them, it blew me away, and I thought I at that time Metallica was the loudest, heaviest and fastest, I was wrong :p The Antichrist is also one of my favorites of this awesome band! 🤘
