I've seen Slayer twice but only at metal festivals so even though they played great sets it wasn't a preferred way I'd like to have seen them. In a club like this would have been way better

Awwe... You are absolutely right on that one. First time I saw Slayer was in '86 at a club called The Cameo Theater. We always called it The SLAMEO Theater from that point on. I ve seen them live many times since then all the way up to the Final Tour & though some shows were of a similar brutal vibe, atmosphere & pit, none were like that hellacious smaller gig, with bodies flying all about the club, from one side of the room clear across to the other! The fucking memories, man...
