4:21 looks like what you play and what you wrote are different. The tablature is also missing a lot of small details (like vibratos and pull offs). Still, i appreciate the sheets and video. It would also be nice to hear Kerry King's palm mutted part played at half speed or slower. Lastly, it would be nice to have the pre-solo bars for both solos.

really good lesson. But, the very last part of hanneman's solo (while it sounds good your way) is clearly played differently in the studio version. If you watch his hands during the seasons in the abyss video, he is clearly playing something VERY different. Does anyone have any idea what he might be doing? I'm talking about the part after the regular tapping riffs and pinch harmonics that ends the solo.

Does anyone know if the original Doom video-game soundtrack was inspired by Slayer or Slayer was inspired by game? What came 1st, the 🐔 or the 🥚? 😅 Doom II sounds like Pantera riffs some of them.

No one gets away with playing absolute nonsense like KK and JH.
@user-uv1rr5xk8i5 жыл бұрын
Isn't that the truth!!! I'm actually trying to explain to a bunch of Slayer fans how these guitarists have actually no idea of what they are doing and constantly play random shit. Just like kids do that CAN'T play
@aeksinsang9325 жыл бұрын
So god damn true- add trey of morbid angel- absolutely true- most ironic you know who it is within seconds
@franklynn11604 жыл бұрын
@@user-uv1rr5xk8i False. Every note is placed intentionally. It's constructed chaos, that was the Slayer way. JH and KK knew exactly what tf they were doing. I have listened to the tracks isolated, not charming alone, but designed that way, and worked perfectly.

Nonsense to one is bliss to another.
@andrewsmith28804 жыл бұрын
I used to think that too... that is until I actually listened to them repeat that absolute nonsense note for note without a hitch. Just random shit? Ever tried playing random shit and have it sound anywhere near as cool as Slayer? I didn't think so...
