I know it's late to the game... I just picked up BB and all the DLC. Done a couple low level starts but needed some expert guidance so I thought I would give your/this series a peek. Ok i have begun to warm up to things. As soon as i heard STEEL BROW, you were speaking my language. I can't even imagine a better perk for no death runs. Even when i play deaths allowed as opposed to a no death run challenge, Steel Brow is just provides an extra layer of security that is my cup of tea. Steel Brow versus Collossus is a debate with merit on both sides, but my view, and that of most strong players, is that Additional Fur Padding is the best armor attachment for Battle Forged builds for the bulk of the fights in the game (ofcourse narrow situations like Lindwurms, Bone Plating is preferable, and against Ancient Undead its more of a wash, but pretty much everything else starts heavily favoring Afp for both survavibility and injury prevention. The more durability the armor has, the stronger AFP is). That helps grant near invincibility to Injuries for X hits to body armor, but the head is ever a weakness to dangerous things like Barbarian Chosen with their insanely high penetration and Crippling Strikes, so even 300-400 head armor does one little good if they are getting severe concussion and are one more unfortunate head shot away from Death. Enter Steel Brow and head hits are basically irrelevant since they are just splitting damage that won't be lethal anytime soon. Nimble frontline doesn't need it as much, albeit it still can be helpful and grant even greater security, especially if the build doesn't go Indomitable. Nimble backline on things like Archers/Throwers and the like really doesn't need it, Nimble and ~70 hp and Sallet Helm with 47%~ or less Nimble should be enough with some decent defenses. Also the nice editing for hit chance probability to some of these combo enemy hits early game are a very nice tough. Even your weird accentuation of certain words and the intonation is sorta humorous and enjoyable. Play so far ~30 mins in doesn't seem to be too far removed from someone like Filthy Robot, and he is a decent enough player, so that isn't a terrible starting point.

@1:08:30 Morningstar is not good for repairing and selling, especially on Expert Economy. General rule of thumb is 10 value to 1 durability. So something like a Falchion at 500 value for 48 durability is an actual tier 2 weapon that might be worth repairing if tools are aplenty and there is a good selling spot. However morningstar at 600 value for 72 durability falls below the guideline threshold for repair profit.

If you need any extra cripples to carry a dagger for the cultist campaign, just saying... lol... although I'm trying to try out a good ideal formation with reach weapons on the ends of the line and the shield guys next to them to crash in and take the planks...

I always forget about why I need the great axe that does 100% 30 shield damage, until I play against the guys on the harder difficulties with high shield wall defense, that even a good flail might take awhile to take down and a hunter sure isnt gonna do much without at least a great axe guy somewhere to help a little bit... got a bad feeling it could be easy to forget some of these things and wipe... although I'm sure it'll be fine... lol...

I think I've got it, I'm gonna try, poachers with 7 guys in the front, 4 spears and 3 warforks, which I guess has to be in the front row and marching... then two more hunters, and with the five archers you might be able to afford the ammo? I feel like my failing in messing up the spear wall, with getting the warforks in the front is why I keep dying, worked great against the nechahnezers though... could be what were going for, although messengers could be pretty good when you can afford them sometimes as well... and I forgot a priest or flaggellant or somebody to hold the banner in the center...?

It's pretty hard, trying to keep my group small in the beginning to get some gear, and not getting wiped by dire wolves or an ambush... I think the ammunition for one hunter, instead of the gluttonous archer companion, might be all I could afford... might have to hire a few cheaps guys to fill this armor before my guys get eatin after a few days again though...

It definitely seems like the 6 gp vagabonds and daytailers could be the biggest power spike in economics over the 4 gp cripple, over like a disappointing Miller at 8 gp a day, with 50 atk and 7 more resolve than the uber vagabond... think I'm gonna try to stick around the 6 gp range in the beginning with a hunter and a couple companions, lol... pretty expensive on the middle veteran difficulty... might consider a fisherman if I see a good deal one of these days though... lol...?
