Thanks for the great video! If the belt rides below the top level of the secondary even after adjusting it to the maximum value (6 on your sled) does that mean I need a new belt? Or can I adjust anything else to squeeze the secondary a bit closer?

Enjoyed the video but audio is sketchy. Got the idea though. I tightened my belt today but now have belt creep at idle. Just wondering, would it be better to have a little belt creep or have the belt a little lower in the shive and no creep? Thanks

ok i have a 1979 john deere it doesnt have any of those fancy belt adjusting tools an i got a new belt and its a little tight as in it kills the motor when i stop what should i do? Pleast Reply Thanks

I accidentally removed the secondary clutch bolts and the spring came out and it was a huge pain to compress and bolt in by yourself

It's the audio, sorry! This vid is from quite a few years ago and our early film production crew used copyrighted music which we've had to remove, but the process isn't that great. Since then, all our music has been properly licensed and it won't be an issue in any of our recent videos. Thanks for watching!
