An interview with "Sledge Hammer!" star David Rasche from a morning talk show in LA during the late 1980s. (The low volume & out of synch audio were on the original broadcast due to a tape delay problem.)

There's no reason to use such foul language. You can get your point across using the word 'dern'.

Love Sledge Hammer. However, I feel David Rasche as Det. Mike Parnell in "An Innocent Man" was his pinnacle work. Can't believe he didn't get an Emmy for that role.

In this interview, David looks like Chuck Woolery from "The Love Connection". Sledge Hammer was an awesome show and David was just as awesome in that show. He's very funny, handsome, he's the whole package!!

I was nick named Sledghammer when i competed in fast draw contest in the 80s and have the document to prove it. I was the only one crazy enough to compete with a 44mag. THE BEST SHOW EVER

I bet you were called Sledghammer because you looked like one. Not because you are a great cop. Admit it!

I remember he arrives home with a VHS tape, he inserts it into a VHS player, it plays back a target sillouhette with a voiceover that says “shoot me” over and over. So he pulls out the .44 and shoots his TV. That cracked me up.

I wonder how many cops like this show. If I was a police officer, I would be laughing my ass off more than me already watching it just as a plain civilian. David Rasche is the fucking man. By the way, with all-do respect, doesn't he remind you of Peter Cetera?
